I can’t believe this game doesn’t have controller support. I mean the controller isn’t that much a problem but the game feels so slow. Like for example the mega man 2 that came out many years on the App Store before the updated one, was 10 times better! At this point getting an emulator is better than this.
Seriously? No support for MFi controllers? This game was hard enough on the NES, but on a touchscreen, it’s near impossible to play. How much harder is it to add support for a physical controller? The graphics and sound are amazing - this is a beautiful port from the 8-bit era. But without the controller support...it’s just app store fodder.
I bought the whole bundle after seeing one of my favorite games MEGAMAN 6 from my childhood. Mega man 1 was impossible to beat wily with the controls and no energy tanks. The rest are playable although difficult to have fun because your constantly dying from the horrible dpad all the time. While I bought the bundle 6 is the only real one that was fun because the boss difficulty wasn’t ramped up by 10x. MEGAMAN x was great, and that’s what lead me to try. While it was nostalgic, these ports are bad, Capcom obviously just wants $$$ otherwise they would fix it.
Every single time I play this, it crashes at least once. Don’t release a game with a bunch of bugs, hoping we’ll just accept it as it is and not complaining about it. Bad job, guys.
The game is good and for those who say they don’t like the controls or button layout you gotta Jus Get used to them and u can move around boss patterns easily .. overall good game now how about Megaman x 2??????
How come this game had it best but the others (at least 1 and 2) are bad?
I'm in my mid 30's and have owned about every version of mega man on every platform since its inception - I can say without hesitation that this is the worst release of the series by a mile. The framerate is ridiculously slow, the hit detection is off, enemies don't respawn and move in the same manner, sound effects and music is incomplete, controls need improvement (09 iOS Mega Man 2 was light years better in every way) etc, etc, etc. I beg you Capcom, please update this as it would be amazing to have decent versions of 1-6 on the go!
Slow, choppy frame rate, lack of responsive controls, and truncated stages leave me asking Capcom why? Why Capcom, why?
Ok people if you have problems with the frame rate just go to options and put the speed on high( doesn't work well with 1-2 but works great on 3-6)
