Well, it’s Mega Man 2, but...

Is it Mega Man 2? Yes. Does it work? Yes. Is it so laggy that it hurts to play it? Yes. This seems like an effortless port to mobile with nearly no optimization. It’s so laggy and slow that it’s just unenjoyable to play. If this was FREE, maybe I’d pass it off, but this is a paid app of a game that plays worse than it did when it came out 30 YEARS AGO.

Like I said this game is the heaven for my fun because not only can I beat all robot masters with a bit of practice but also the wily bosses! This game is fantastic

This game is really not a bad version of the game, just gotta keep expectations realistic. The app never crashes nor glitches in my experience. Though to effectively play this game definitely make C shape with your thumb and index finger on the side you jump and shoot. In terms of the frame rate issues, it can be slightly fixed by choosing the high speed option most times, though I definitely recommend at least a iPhone 6 with all apps closed to play this with no real headaches.

Not good really good for a bunch of reasons the screen crunch,The lag,and probably other things I haven’t got to yet and the shoot and jump (and the buttons that replace them) buttons are way to big it would’ve been nice to adjust their size.

I bought this game for a nostalgia trip, not to have this game run at 10 FPS on my IPHONE SE! That’s basically an iPhone 6s in a iPhone 5s size. Dude, you don’t need an IPhone XS Max to run this game at a respectable frame rate, if the NES can run this game, a console that is well over 30 years old, why does an iPhone from March of 2016 have this game running like a potato? I expect to have a retro game that I paid money for to run well, we’re talking about a game that was made in the 80’s, and you’re telling me that this game can’t even play smoothly on my phone, what a joke! This is embarrassing, this is not a port that you should invest your time on, you might as well emulate the game on your computer if your phone can’t even run this game smoothly, what a waste of time and money. Stay far away from these mobile ports. They’re not worth your time and money.

A wonderful port with a fantastic continue feature. However, the continue feature messes up on the Dr Wiley stage. If you pass the first segment of the Wiley stage and stop playing, the game resets your progress to the beginning and won’t let you advance past the first Wiley stage. Reallly annoying.

Completely and Utterly Unacceptable

I’m not exaggerating. It is unplayable. The iOS version from 5 years ago was miles better than this sorry excuse for a port. The framerate is ridiculously low, the controls are atrocious, the aspect is wrong, the physics are off from the original, and MUCH more. To put it in perspective, I was able to make a version of all 6 games using open source emulator code, and MY version runs at 60FPS, is 1 to 1 with the original, has controller and airplay support, and has Taptic on button presses. It took me about 5 hours to make this, and it is WAY better than Capcom's official port! And I'm only 16! If you have any decency developers, TAKE THIS OFF THE APP STORE!!

Don’t buy. Megaman 2 is my favorite of all megaman games but this is just a terrible excuse of a port from the classic NES game. When you try to play the game at normal speed the graphics are really glitchy and the frame rate is horrible. Graphics aren’t as glitchy when you run turbo mode but then the game becomes uncontrollable with the crappy on screen controller. Not even worth the $2 for this game, your better off just playing it on a emulator on pc if you really wanna play this game.
