Whatever you do, don't make the mistake of using their site, or their app. I have been cyber-stalked by the same guy for months now, and I have spent months trying to report him, but to no avail. These people don't watch over their own site, and the block function doesn't work. It's gotten so bad that it's now filled with partisan hate sites. I don't know about you, but I want nothing to do with that sort of thing. I urge you all to skip this app.
Works well. Syncs with your groups. Shows other available groups.

The app is easy to use, lets you see your calendar , who's going to your events, and other groups near you. Nice UI.

By allowing myself to go outside my comfort zone and join these MeetUp groups, I have grown SO much in such a short time! I have met many wonderful people who have touched my soul! This never would have happened without the MeetUp app. Thank you!
Works but crashes with iOS 10

Overall this app works well. It does seem to crash (back to the home screen) when viewing photos on a device running iOS 10 but hopefully that will be fixed in an update soon. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app a few times without luck. This is not an issue on iOS 9 and older versions.
This app can get better

This app can get better if it lets me administrate my group: -Approve who wants to join my group. -Create events -send suggestions for events in other meetups.
Meet-ups are great

While in our summer location near Bend, Oregon, we discovered Meet-up. We were looking for other enthusiastic photographers and found a meet-up that was a delight to participate in. What's nice about meet-ups is that you can choose your interest and attend whatever event you want, but there's no pressure. Of course, the more you get involved the more you get out of it.
