Baffling and Unintuitive

Is this a new iOS game for users? How many taps to find the hidden command? How do you see messages. Calendar is hidden. Chronological listing of event to the point you have to stare at it for while to figure out what's going on? 37 clicks to find an event then app crashes. I remember when this app was at a glance, instead of secret knowledge to give dumb people something to do. Interface is klunky and unintuitive. Each version is worse than the next. Every step a step backwards... no exception here once again.

The old app maybe 1-2 years ago was great. Then they redesigned the logo, look and function only for it to be more disjointed in appearance, function and ease of use plummeted. For instance I would often search by date when looking for something to do. Now it’s buried and I have to keep looking at silly pictures of categories. Newsflash: you’re not a product you’re a service. And not even, more like a portal. Think craigslist and why it’s so popular. It’s simple and functional. That’s all we want.
Ugly, Clunky App

Meetup Developers, could you please fix this App. I’m sorry, but it really has an ugly and clunky interface. It doesn’t flow well at all. As well, the icon on my iPad Air 2 with iOS 11.1.1 looks nothing like the Meetup icon you advertise in the update here. There’s also no indication that it’s the Meetup App when I put it in the Doc. The computer version is soooooo much better and organized. This App is too big, in your face, you cannot easily locate things, nor is the Discussion section easy to find. It JUST DOESN’T WORK. PLEASE GIVE IT A COMPLETE overhaul or get rid of it. It’s REALLY, REALLY BAD!!!!!!!!

Crashes on tapping the alert icon. Love the app, fix the crash and get your 5 star rating. Update: latest fix works. Thanks! Update: Often data in tables (1st tab in tab bar) updates but the UI doesn’t so when you tap on a cell the cell with updated data is tapped although details I see were old details and its corresponding page opens up. When you press back you can see the updated cell as UI has refreshed. Make sure your UI updates are on the main thread. Also while doing so please make sure table offset doesn't change as that would be very annoying if table scrolled to top on every data update.
