Customer support could not help me. Doesn't work to change password online. Cannot log in

The app does state it's only for clinicians (if you click on to read the details) but right there is Medtronic's ineptitude laid bare. They truly are idiots who it comes to consumer IT. They belatedly follow the competition to allow Cloud sharing of SG readings... But don't let the custom app for that work for care-givers ... And the care link app (this) only works for the doctors ... So parents still have to navigate their outdated website and still can't properly track their kids safety with their phone! Medtronic should have fired their tech and IT directors years ago. This only confirms their lack of professional understanding of the field they serve. Makes the vast sums of money they get from pump users seem even more unjustified.

This app doesn't allow for connectivity to Medtronic's Carelink system. I spent 20 minutes on hold with tech support waiting to speak with someone then when I was connected the operator put me on hold to research the problem, came back and advised me to change my phone's browser. Only after doing research here did I discover that this app is only intended for medical professionals. My home computer's OS isn't up to date enough to run CareLink so I was hoping to take the Medtronic MyLearning educational modules via my phone. Unfortunately this doesn't appear to be an option. It doesn't lift my confidence levels very high if MiniMed can't label their app information very clearly.

I have been trying to log in throughut the day. The system is crapped. Have repeatedly registered and changed passwords and I get the same idiotic message- either my Pw or Id is wrong. Also spent some 30 mins to get to an agent via phone who was of absolutely no help- simply ignorant blaming Apple. I am sick literally and need a pacemaker readout and 12 hours later cant obtain it due to Metronic idiocy and incompetence.

This app is so absolutely frustrating. Every update makes it impossible to access. I forgot my password, so I was directed to the webpage to change it. Finally managed to get to the obscure website and change the password. App won’t recognize it. Hours...literally hours on the phone getting shifted from one phone to another to wait on hold for periods ranging 20-30 minutes. I hope the same people who designed the app aren’t the same ones who designed my pacemaker....or I’m in trouble.

I had to reinstall the app on my husband’s phone. Finally managed to figure out how to get to the CareLink site - mycarelink.com. Thought I updated the password through the website site. Neither password is working to get the app logged back in so I can send a transmission. Someone needs to know how to troubleshoot this stuff. Now I need to call AGAIN to try getting the app linked to his account. What’s the likelyhood that I will be able to get help?

For everyone trying to use this app; this is for CLINICIANS. Not patients. Patients only have access to the MCL heart app with the pacemaker/ICD’s. One of my EP’s explained his log in for carelink was for ALL of his current Medtronic patients; and there is no way to log in without being able to pull up multiple patient profiles currently; which is why he couldn’t give me the login for mine; (it was the hospitals carelink provider login and would give me acess to all his patients information). Medtronic is behind the time here; I’ve been begging them for access to my loop information; pacemaker transmission data through a carelink portal for PATIENTS but it’s falling on deaf ears for years. Anyway don’t waste your time with this app it’s for providers. If your looking for any access to your pacemaker it’s the MCL heart app
