Started out fine, then, the new story button stopped working. Medium iOS app support said it’s aware of the issue and nothing else. I did pay for the membership and am now not able to write any new stories. So, exactly what is the point of the app? Oh, the workaround suggested by Medium, find an Android device, access your account via that device and app, then, write, cut, paste what you have written via Android into your account housing the the iOS app, then, edit and publish using the iOS app. Really?

For a few years now, I’ve been enjoying the articles I’ve read through Medium. While I’ve entertained the notion that I could write like some of the authors who publish their stories there, it was never more than just that: a passing notion. I’m finally leaping in to what I hope will become a fruitful career. Beginning on Medium has been a transformative and cathartic experience. Writing and reading back has helped me improve the decisions I make as I progress through my stories. I hope others will find their way to the platform. Words have power and we need the “write” tools to wield them effectively. Thanks for helping us stay sane throughout this crisis!
