Broken New Story Button? – Medium: Read & Write Stories Review

Started out fine, then, the new story button stopped working. Medium iOS app support said it’s aware of the issue and nothing else. I did pay for the membership and am now not able to write any new stories. So, exactly what is the point of the app? Oh, the workaround suggested by Medium, find an Android device, access your account via that device and app, then, write, cut, paste what you have written via Android into your account housing the the iOS app, then, edit and publish using the iOS app. Really?
