Why not be a PHR too?

HndInCkkieJar

This app is great- it flows well with very minimal lag and I have yet to see it freeze or need to be reset. I also like that it gives you the option to not be reminded to take the pills you’ve entered in. It allows a section to list your providers, and numerous trackers for vitals and nutrition and so on.... ...yet there’s nowhere to record health conditions, which is one of the few things missing from what is essentially a mobile PHR.... Suggestion to developers: maybe allow us premium users an area to record diagnoses and allergies, connect the meds we take to the conditions we have, and be able to export this and everything else in ccd format? That would be sweet : )

Could be improved

I’ve set and configured all meds and times for each pill. I do not receive notifications for the individual pills and their set times on my Apple Watch or IPhone in a consistent manner. I may receive a single global reminder for which I have to tap the watch face and then chose a pill to take. I was anticipating a notification for each separate pill at the set time along with its picture, as did the WebMD app before they deleted that option. Currently, I must open the app on my phone and choose which pill to take whereas it would be much more convenient and helpful if the actual pill showed up on the Apple Watch or on the phone. Perhaps this might be done in the future. On a positive note, the developers respond quickly and helpfully and are to be commended for the interest they take in the opinions offered.

Easier tracking

This app has been amazing for me to use for my 3 year old son while he’s been undergoing chemo! If I could have 2 things added though it would be the ability to select a default account for when you open it (since obviously my son is my primary use for the app) and I would be amazing if you could set boundaries or limits for meds. For example my son can have zofran every 4 hours but only 3 times max in 24 hours, or phenergan only every 6 hours. I would like it if there was a warning that said, it hasn’t been this long yet or he isn’t able to get another dose for “xxx” many minutes/hours. It would be a huge help especially with my lack of sleep and the major amount of meds my boy has.

Incredible and ongoing developer support

The app is very customizable.

Updates are 3 weeks late

PAmom420

I check for updates every single day, & this is the one that sends the “newest” update 3-4 weeks later each time & I have the screenshots to prove that. I’ve sent countless emails to support that’s done nothing in the past.

Invaluable

What an incredible app. If you take the time to set it up and log when you take your vitamins or prescriptions, your reminders will keep you on track and create a record you can reference or share with your doctor. There’s a lot of flexibility - I can temporarily add my allergy medicine so I remember to take it when I start my day, update dosage to every other day or every four days when my prescription changed, etc! While I don’t use it personally, I’m grateful to see that you can set up a second person to view an account. This just be invaluable to caretakers. My only suggestion is for developers is to tweak settings for notifications. I should have the option for “silent” in my medtones (message only), the option to not use the snooze feature, and really to turn off notifications altogether WITHIN the app. I used the app to create a good routine and now no longer need the notifications; I only want to log when I’ve taken them. However, the only way I could do this was to prohibit notifications from my phone settings. For someone who doesn’t need to take my vitamins/prescriptions at an exact hour - really just with a meal, which isn’t always at the same time - the snooze feature quickly became annoying. If we could have an option to silence notifications, and/or opt out of snooze, and/or turn them off altogether WITHIN the app, that would be awesome. And while that suggestion for improvement was wordy, it was easily fixed within my phone settings. So - five stars, hands down.

Very Good

Very good app for identifying, scheduling and monitoring prescription information.

Widget Thought

Raphael_G

I really like the app and the reminders it provides, but here is one suggestion for the widget: 1. When I look at it before a medication is due to be taken, it always says I’m all caught up. Would it be possible to list what is due and when before I get the reminder?

Love your App

papa719

Hi, I just set your app up on both my iphone an iPad. I have Parkinson’s and Epilepsy that required too many medication’s throughout the day and night. Your app has worked well so far in keeping me on my important medication schedule. My biggest challenge with the is syncing between iPad & iPhone devices. I do realize this one of the features you’re working on, I trust this is a developmental priority as other apps I’ve used do provide this capability. RK Cocoa Beach, FL

Great app and support

Butterfly-101

The app is great ! It reminds when to take it on time and if I take a little bit after it notes the time. So very easy to use . I love it down to where you have the option to report the meds to your doctor. Customer support is awesome! They get right back to right away! It’s not just for pills as well it is for liquid meds too! Thank you!!
