Connects just fine w/ one problem

NW9824

After I figured out how to connect to Bluetooth then everything was working fine, until I tried to turn on motion capture. When motion capture tried to start the app shuts down and Bluetooth disconnects. iPhone 4s version 9.1 is my version to new? Any help is appreciated.

Worked fine out of the box

Polareyzed

Had no issues connecting via bt. Everything worked as expected.

Wish the box said which devices it can connect to

MECCANOT

Doesn’t connect to our ipad2, LG smartphone, samsung smartphone, or 2 kindle fires. but if you are reading this, you’ve already spent 3 days building the thing and it is probably too late for you too.

Does not work

Blaise Kubasik

Every time I try to make him mimic my moves it says battery level not sufficient. Do not get this app it is not verry good??

Useful, but could use some features...

HazardousZERO

Review: It is very useful for creating and saving complex LIM sequences. There is a steep learning curve and it will take time to learn how to use it. For Devs: my kids get little use of the app. If I may offer a use case for new feature... 1. A separate mode where the app doesn't record (i.e. run out of record time). My kids like using the app to make Meccanoid move in real-time. When record length reaches maximum, they are forced to create a new file or scrub back to overwrite. Essentially, a remote control mode would be useful.

Will not work with iOS 9.2

Xtm69

I was very disappointed when I called Meccanoid and was told to give my Meccanoid G15KS more time to connect to my iPad Air using iOS 9.2, after letting it scan for an hour it did not connect. Now one of the largest programming tools for this robot is not available. I even tried loading the app on my iPhone 5 S which also has iOS 9.2. I got the same results, the robot never acknowledges that the phone or iPad is trying to connect by Bluetooth. They need to update the software to allow for recent iOS versions.

Piece. Of. Overpriced. Crap.

Mom 1939

Title says it all, but I'll elaborate. The only excitement from this toy ends once it is put together. The required C batteries drain within minutes, and it does not pair to any of the 3 devices (all of which it is supposedly compatible with) that I have tried. Calling customer support required at least a 25 - 35 minute hold (I've called twice) on a week day, only to be asked if I am tech savvy, and told that it is quite "easy" to connect via Bluetooth, that it won't work with an iPad (even though the same rep said the video shows it being used with an iPad), and that I should watch the "very helpful" How To video. The first 10 seconds of the video shows the toy being connected via the app; the rest shows how to use the app, which would be LOVELY if the thing would actually connect. The customer service rep is clearly reading from a very repetitive script, and I suspect he has never even seen the actual toy in person.

Didn't connect

Midnight slay3r

I've tried connecting with a iPhone 4 and tablet and it just keeps saying scanning on the website it says works with iPhone 4 so don't know why it won't connect

My 10 yr old says thumbs up!

Sgforce

After realizing we had to press the name in the top left corner it connected instantly on my iphone6. Everything worked as it should and "Bob" is cruising around the house. Our 10 yr old built it himself and loves it!

Great But one tiny problem

I love the app from so much features that you could use on Meccanoid, but that I only experienced with the fun once. That's because when once I connect Meccanoid, he says that his battery level is sufficient. I like the Robot Though!
