Wish I had read the reviews before I purchased this app. I was encouraged by the word "pro" in the title. It is cumbersome. Would like to make a meal plan without having to write the recipes first. Don't buy it.
Needs work. Great Potential.

I was excited to find an app that calculates my recipe's nutrition facts. However, It crashes too frequently and I have lost two extensive recipes & instructions because of it. SUGGESTED FIXES: stop the crashing, the ability to add photos from iPhone photo library, share on Twitter & Facebook, the ability to print, the ability to back up recipes via iCloud or transfer to a PC/MAC.

As someone who has to wait two weeks between paychecks, I love that you can plan more than a week in advance so I'm not making last minute trips to the store. I did have it crash once while I was inputting my recipes, so I hope that's fixed soon. That is my only complaint, as this app does everything I need it to.

Great app. Love that it creates nutritional labels for my home-cooked recipes. I dont use the shopping list as mich as I should, it is a nice feature. Only down-side is I wish it would do a partial search in the database. It gets tedious typing every ingredient completely in order to locate it. And if you spell something wrong you get no results and have to re-enter it. I have had no problems with it crashing. Works great on my iPod touch.

With a very active lifestyle, desiring to eat healthy, however, prep time has always been an issue...until now! Meal Builder Pro is just what I need! I will admit i was cautious since there were no reviews, so by prayer and faith I "stepped into the water," and what an incredible blessing! Not only am I able to menu plan, but there is so much more: I can add recipe groups, add "custom ingredients," nutrition values, create a shopping list for the specific meals, check them off my list AND send an email of a recipe (with instructions) to my husband, BONUS!! I only wish I was able to edit existing list of ingredients instead on adding under the "custom" tab. I'm really excited and look forward to cooking healthy, it's actually fun now. I'm very pleased and found it was well worth the cost...Thank You, Lord!

I wish I had known before I bought this app that it has only two "recipes" preloaded. You have to add recipes to make this work. You cannot add a simple food that doesn't have a recipe to a day because there's no recipe for it. Let's say you want to add an apple for breakfast. You guessed it, you have to add a recipe for an apple first. You can't enter an apple without creating a recipe! I'm sure it's a lovely app otherwise but I was so irritated by this that I deleted an app that I actually paid for.

It needs work . . . how can it have "chicken tail" listed and not have chicken breast or chicken thighs, or at least light and dark meat. Btw, what is chicken tail?

Keeps crashing. It's useless. Don't bother with this! I want my money back! They have found a new way of making money! Make a useless app, then sell it to unsuspecting consumers!
