MAVPILOT has FIND MY DRONE functionality built in. If you were forced to land your drone some distance away, this convenient functions will determine the latitude and longitude of the drones' location and its' distance from you. The inbuilt compass can then direct you to the drone, saving you a haphazard and time consuming search.
MAVPILOT offers the power of a full Ground Control Station, but with the convenience of being able to fit in your pocket.

Useless - wasted $10

This app has NO help or documentation, the map doesn't load and there is no way to edit the Home position. If you buy this app consider it a donation to a worthless cause. I gave it 1 star because I didn't want anyone to think I forgot to rate it. It deserves a 0.
This APP is not ready for sale & waste of money

This APP has little value to a Mavlink drone pilot. This APP is still in the development stage and (as is) requires complicated hardware purchase and wiring to use. I am suppressed that this APP is for sale on the Apple Store. APM and Pixhawk pilots, don’t waste your money on this APP.

Does not work with Bluetooth. What gives? I'm not a big tech guy, but Bluetooth seems like a must.

This app does work with AR drone 2.0 by Parrot (if you have the gps flight recorder). The instructions to enter the correct IP and protocol number is described on their main website. This is great because Qgroundcontrol app won't work. However, the GPS is way off. Always. It makes the drone fly to strange places. The free flight app, however, has a gps lock to 3meters so it's not the drone or my phone. Please update this.
