ABOUT RUSSIAN DOLLS (also called nesting dolls, nested dolls or babushka dolls)
The name Matryoshka personifies the mother of a large family, a woman who is happy, healthy, and well fed. The name also represents fertility and motherhood. The largest doll is the grandmother with future generations of dolls tucked inside her. This symbolizes the hope and value of life and the family; the heart and soul of Russian people. Traditionally, a matryoshka was given to newborns to wish them a long and prosperous life.

The stacking dolls are beautifully done, very colorful and perfect for children. The music and sounds for the animals are great tools for association for the very young (i.e. cow goes "moo," chicken clucks). Smooth touch controls as well. Very nice!

This is a great app for small children. My little daughter was absolutely enthralled with it. It's fantastic for building good hand eye coordination in young children. It would also work well to keep them entertained and quiet in a restaurant or on a road trip. The graphics are stellar and the music perfect. The developers have done a wonderful job with this. I'm just amazed that they are giving it away for free.
