How is it possible to write a review when I can't test to see if the app really works ? Going into the app blind (so to speak) I can only give it a one star and I give that with the hope that it can not be much worse than one.

What I need is a Markdown editor that can round-trip documents in Dropbox without a hassle. This app claims to do it, but you first have to write a review for it. So, having written a review (gave it two stars as a "don't know yet" rating) and giving it a day or two to post, I came back and tried the app again. Was able to pull a file from Dropbox and edit. It's a basic interface, which I prefer to something fancy, but it must use some common Dropbox highlighting code that doesn't always work right. A lot of apps (mobile and desktop) have this problem. Annoying, but not fatal. Then came time to save my edits. It put up a green bar at the bottom, "An error occurred while saving your changes to dropbox file" and tapping Retry did nothing. Attempting to share the file any other way made the app crash. The only way I was able to get my changes out was to copy the file and paste it into Notes Writer+. Therefore, I'm back to rewrite my review and downgrade my rating. Unless you just want to save your files on your iPad, and never do anything with them, this app is not worth the bandwidth to download it. I've had pretty good luck with paid apps, so I guess I'll quit being cheap and give Byword a try. Notes Writer+ works, but it's a little clunky and doesn't always sync the way it should.

I have tried to use it but it didn't show me a preview of the markdown text. Now I had to write a review to open a file with it!

Makes you leave a rating to unlock cloud storage. Can not preview markdown file from Dropbox source written on computer -- so, useless. The inbuilt editor and preview works fine but I'm not looking to draft only on my iPhone.

Same as others have said. I haven't used it yet because my notes are all in Dropbox, but I can't use it and evaluate until I review. So here's the three stars

So far this is really simple to use. It's too soon to tell what's missing and what the draw backs are.
