Downloaded and used on a recent trip to the FL Keys

Very useful in guiding through the keys channels. Once you have a map and want to plot a route this is very useful. Takes a little getting used to but got the job done. Harder to use on iPhone due to screen size.

Great buy

Zenehet

Great app. Using it right now on my travel down the Chesapeake. Has speed, depth and I can download tons of noaa charts without additional charge that are accessible offline. Also one thing I like is to place a waypoint when I anchor. In the night if I am worried I am drifting I check this app to see where my gps is versus the anchor. That is super useful in my book.

Great app for iPhone but...

Daaiou

Does not have all the features on iPad. Especially lacking is the "follow" feature which is the highlight of this app imho. Works great on phone though. The vector chart for the northeast seems to be a little off. At least on my iPhone and iPad it is always about 30-50 feet off from reality. Not an issue in open water naturally but when you're in a tight channel it can be a little nerve racking. Not a bad app all and all though.

Great support

The support for this app is amazing. You get a response right away and it's always helpful. As a non technical person I'm delighted to have great support.

Used On Mississippi and St. Croix Rivers

E. Lile

Thus far I've used this app primarily for navigation on the Mississippi and St. Croix rivers, with good success. I've used the app on my iPad Air 2 and used a Garmin Glo for positioning information. The app performed well and the couple of times when the app froze it was due most likely to the Garmin Glo (since other navigation apps I have on this platform experienced the same freeze problems in conjunction with the Garmin Glo). Like everything else in the world there is always room for improvement, and for the rivers the two suggestions I'd make to the developer are: improve wing dam symbology on the charts this plotter uses, and secondly, add bridge clearance, radio frequencies and phone numbers as well as similar dimension and contact information for locks. I've used this app to successfully deliver a $1M yacht and thus it is quite a good app. REMINDER TO RECREATIONAL MARINERS: NEVER rely on only one navigation method even on rivers. Have a paper chart or a second GPS-based system independent of the primary method. You should ALWAYS know your current position especially if a sudden emergency arises.

I can't believe how much I use this app

This app did not even have my area to download. It’s horribly user unfriendly. Save your money.

Crashing

Salt Therapy

Have had this app since 2013 use it a lot as a back up GPS even 60+ miles offshore fishing. It’s very accurate. However, recently started “crashing” a lot after a few minutes of use. Please fix the bug.
