Well, as excited as I am that Marathon has come to mobile devices, trying to play through the game with nothing more than a pitch black screen and some trigger controls is not in the LEAST bit helpful or entertaining! I certainly hope someone fixes this bug. I'm using an iPod Touch to play this, by the way. Been a fan of the Marathon Trilogy for many, many years (since I was a child, really), and would love to be able to ACTUALLY PLAY this wonderful series on my breaks at work without having to lug a laptop around. Hopefully they fix the bug soon.

Do not buy HD if you think it will come full screen. I mean come on I'm on an ipad mini so it's a tiny little square and the HD difference is not much of a change. Soooooo lame. Give me my dollar back please.

This was a fantastic follow up to the original Marathon. Durandal is such a friendly, complicated character in this. It's just brilliant, good fun.

I remember this whole series. Loved everyone of the games. Number 2 even better. So happy to be playing it again

durandal is my favorite one in the trilogy. this release has excellent controls, menus and gameplay. it looks great on the iPad mini but its still lacking 4" iPhone 5 support. highly recommended!

The middle of the Marathon Trilogy. Never thought I would be able to play this truly great game again until some very Clever people translated it to the iPhone. Thanks!

It's back. My original Bungie Sack, with all three versions hiding in the basement. The games purchased in 199x at the Apple expo NYC. Now my new version hides in the clouds until I'm ready to play. For a game almost 20 years old, it shows just how good the programming was. I still think Marathon is the daddy of every action game played to date. And it's still great. Bob W.

I wrote a review for Marathon 1 with the same message, and I want everyone to know. Whoever made these Marathon app has the worst idea for a control mechanism in the history of controls! Who has that kind of sick thought?! Like I said in the other review, I tried contacting them via email and they never responded!! They need to get a reality check, because their definition of controls is the most disgusting, absurd, and impossible to use!!!
