Handy but.....

I had downloaded this app after purchasing the D5600. Going through the manuals I did not find the one for the D5600. I know the camera is a bit new, but it seems the app grabs the manuals online. I figured the D5500 would be a close match. Unfortunately when I went to download the manual, it failed every time.
Broken!

This app worked well for a year or so. Now when I try to open a manual, a black screen of death occurs.

I had just been grousing about the small type in my new Nikon's manual when I stumbled across this neat app. Not only is the page size much bigger, but the app lets me search the manual and follow hyperlinks from the index to specific content. If you're familiar with apps like Kindle and iBooks, you'll find this app very easy to use.

Downloaded this despite the bad ratings. I have not had any problems downloading the manuals for any of my gear. I'm a pro photographer and have owned my business for over 5years. Sometimes we pros also need to refer to the manual for things we don't use too often, or simply when needing to find out what a particular error means on our gear. This app is perfect for viewing and searching my manuals on my iPad Air2. Bonus points to not having to go online every time I wish to view them as the manuals are downloaded directly into the app.
