As an amateur-enthusiast photographer, I almost always carry my iPad along for back-up and reviewing. This is the first app that allows me to access a topic in a PDF manual quickly (and at multiple locations), follow cross-references (with step-back feature) and, course, search by keyword. A perfect way to "carry" manuals for your Nikon gear (camera & flash manuals are already available, hopefully lens manuals will follow shortly)! Of course it doesn't hurt that it's free, but I'd gladly pay a few $ for it now after I've used it for a while! Great job, Nikon! And hurry up with the remaining manuals?

When I first bought my Nikons I downloaded manuals in PDF so I could read them in iBooks. That worked OK, sort of, but required lots of scrolling around to get to the page I wanted. The Manual Viewer app streamlines this nicely — I can find a topic in the table of contents and link directly to it. In fact, anywhere in the manual where a page is referenced, the reference is actually a link that takes you to that page. It's a small thing, really, but it makes all the difference in how useful an electronic manual is.

I went to download my pics tonight and nothing! No problems before this latest upgrade by Apple. But now my pics are not there in the app. Very happy until tonight.

Unable to successfully download user manual for D7200

A download attempt of the user manual for a D7200 results in an empty file which, when selected for viewing, freezes the viewing application. I have found no other issues.

Does not work with newest iOS

Opens with completely blank black screen and is totally unresponsive.

I read the reviews about how this won't open on the "latest iOS". I'm using an iPhone 7 on iOS 10.2 (the current OS), and the app is working perfectly. I was happy to see manuals for all my bodies plus the speedlights too. I figured there would be little detail in this app, however the PDF page turning animations are even a nice touch. They are nicely responsive! The "techniques" books in the speedlight section were very useful due to the color example photos. I am very pleasantly surprised.

Works in ipad air, not iphone 6s

This app is great on my ipaid air. It's very handy and functional. Howerver, I found it doesn't work on my iphone 6s. Both devices are running iOS 10.2.
