Works great

Creates basic slides from markdown. I use it with editorial and everything works great.

Very, very cool
tedsvo

Makes presentations as easy as writing a Markdown file. I can export the resulting presentation to any app. Unfortunately Keynote on iOS doesn't let you add a theme after a presentation is created, so in Keynote you're stuck with a very minimal format, but that's out of this app's control. All in all a very useful app!

Unique capability and very functional
loupdemar

Although minimal controls and formatting flexibility, this app works exactly as advertised, provides a unique and unusable function, saving time from text, markdown, or OPML to slides. Go from plan text or markdown directly to makeSlides and export to Keynote. Also export iThoughts map (or OmniOutliner outline) in OPML directly to makeSlides and then into Keynote. Sides and resulting Keynote are vanilla, but assume slides can be copied into open formatted and themed Keynote. Simple text works best to avoid slide formatting problems. This app serves a useful purpose and saves cut and past from apps into Keynote. Especially useful in retrospect, using previously written OPML or text/markdown not originally scheduled to be slides. Keep it simple, however.

Disappointed

Maybe I should have looked closer to what I was buying, but I was expecting great things from the creator of iThoughts. Doesn't do do much.

Too basic

I was hoping for an iOS equivalent of Deckset for OS X. This lacks even the most basic features of that app. For instance, one can't make a slide without title text!
