Marvelous

Mailwasher = Marvelous Mobile Mail Management. I believe the poor reviews are from people who have incorrect expectations. The program is not intended to filter, just tag as spam or blacklist, or friend... I can agree it's not as robust as its older PC version, but for anyone who wants to purge emails from a server before accessing with their email client, Mailwasher is a dream come true. (Mailwasher is NOT an email client, never has been, and is not intended to be one.) Update 9-13-16 Over time I have found Milky Way Road Mobile to be increasingly inconsistent. I can sit at my desktop using Mailwasher Pro and side by side use the iOS version. The iOS version simply does not (consistently) present all the emails on the servers and even after deleting using the mobile versions they often persist on the desktop version. I'm sure the developer knows all this and is hamstrung by working with Apple's iOS and with security issues with gmail, etc. issues that never present themselves with the desktop version. The two different versions are like apples and oranges.

I cannot get the app to work. Will not accept my email address and wants me to fill in information I don't have

Doesn't work

Unable to connect 70% of time

I have been using Mailwasher Pro for a couple of years and like it. But I tried it on my iPhone, and I am not able to even set up an email account on it. Definitely not worth the free download.

great!

Simple solution

Does what it's supposed to do. When I need all the features, I go to the desktop version.

Pretty Darn Good App

Sweater_Baron

I've been using this app for about 7 months now, on my iPhone, iPad & desktop PC, and am quite pleased with it. Sure, it's got a few bugs, but after using several different solutions for the past years this is hands-down the best I've found so far. The best part about this app is that it stops spam at the server, before it even gets to your devices. You preview your messages in the app, tag the spam, blacklist entire domains, and when you're ready you open your mail program to download the remaing good messages. With a couple of business e-mail accounts advertised on the web I get upwards of 500 messages per day; of which about 40-50 are valid. To prevent me from having to swipe tag messages all day long, I leave my desktop on at the office with this app running and filtering messages, so the last check and filer always has occurred during the past 15 minutes. Works best when you configure filters under settings for auto-delete blacklisted domains, and certain high-volume spam terms: such as "Dr. Oz." "Diet"etc. Bugs: - Phone/iPad app doesn't refreash showing all the pending messages; you have to refresh-wash-refresh-wash several times.

Mobile version junk / Desktop version golden

I use the desktop version and like it. I couldn't get the mobile version to work on my iPad. It seemed like it was checking my mail but never reported any mail or spam. Obviously the app wasn't actually checking my mail server. Bummed. Would have liked to have a mobile version of this great app.

Nope

Too slow, too many bugs, and the responsive time is terrible.
