Spidious

Have used it for many years. I was a beta tester of it. But the mobile version needs to open the email after washing. Just like the desktop version does.

Seems cool, but...???

I have had this app installed for a couple of days on my iPad and it has a nice user interface, but so far it doesn't appear to do anything of value. I have added many email addresses to the block list, and marked many as spam, but new spam with the same email addresses continues to populate my iPad inbox, as well as the inbox on my POP mail server. Seems like I'm spending a lot of time creating block lists for no reason. The same blocked email addresses even appear again in THIS app, only they are pre-marked for deletion during the "wash" function. I really don't need to continue to see email I have already marked as blocked. Am I missing something?

Not Working

Bdgriff

Another long time user of the pc version for yrs, so was really excited about this one. However, after opening and setting up it worked one time. I also would love it to open 'mail' when done washing, but the big problem is it won't run at all now! Opens, I see a red banner on top saying Please update to latest version!!!! There is only vs 1!!!!

Terrible

This software does not filter anything. Do not waste your time.

Love It

Fast and handy

I have been using MailWasher on my PC for many years, I love how the ability to bounce junk email helps to reduce future junk email. While this mobile MailWasher does not allow you to bounce emails, it does allow you to see and delete emails while they're still on the server, before they've been downloaded to your mobile device. It was easy to set up, it's very easy to use, and best of all, It Works.

Does what I need

I'm a long time Mailwasher user and still use it on my PC. Been waiting for it on the iPad and iPhone and this does exactly what I use it for. Agree with the comments about some critical reviewers not understanding what it does. Great for intercepting those sketchy emails before they hit your inbox.

Mailwasher

This is the Mail App that iOS should have had. I can clear out spam and other unwanted emails while I read the ones I want. It's much better. Love it!

Fan-tastic! Love it, don't go without!

Got sick of seeing spam from places i didnt decline to get spam from, go figure. Gmail's spam button is hard to find or not there, seems like webmail services stopped fighting spam, its still out there people! Im laughing at myself because in order to keep email uncluttered i need to use 3 different apps and im only using gmail. 1 . Incredimail...just makes me feel like a CEO, it has a good looking front face to it, no squinting or feeling cheap necessary. 2. MailTamer ... Lets me pull up all emails for each sender all at once...to delete if i don't need or like that person anymore but may want all emails from my boss or relative. A little buggy but it works. Using it because gmail has removed the add folder feature, i'm an organizing freak. not crazy about the search all the time thing in gmail. Drives me nuts. 3. Mailwasher ... For spam blocking, i needed two step verification enabled for it to log into gmail, gmail got suspicious before and blocked mailwasher when attempting to add gmail to mailwasher. Two step verify works great. Two step verify is accomplished within gmail's account setting. It creates a password just for whatever app is connecting into gmail such as mailwasher. I haven't got it to work with outlook.com yet. Only tried for 10 minutes or so. Suggestions If mailwasher added mailtamer's functions i would pay $10 Another suggestion, make the "wash" occur automatically when someone chooses to block that email. One less step. And wasnt crazy about swiping each post to block or friend, put those buttons right on each email. Like. (Block | Friend). The icons there now are not speed worthy. I had a few huh whats that moments, i got sh** to do people.

I run Mailwasher on all my computers, and now on my phone as well. Simply put, it's the best program of its type, period.
