I am really enjoying playing this because I like mah-jongg games but I can't read the hints they disappear too fast and I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing with all this stuff I'm collecting but other than that it's pretty fun
Too many ads and bad space management
Hate toy blast ads
I finally gave up on this game and deleted it. There have been many bad changes (the latest useless bonus tile things) to this game over the years but the latest one where they force you to watch ads unless you pay was too much. It’s one thing to offer someone the choice in the game to watch ads in return for more play time, but you literally could not play more than a few minutes without being forced to watch ads. But in the end the last straw was when I noticed that the app was taking up 5GB on my phone. 5GB!! That’s ridiculous. I deleted it and won’t be due loading again. Too bad because the game play itself was good (except for the part where some levels were impossible to clear until they let you clear them - I could literally see the tiles change as I played) but the excessive ads and the really poor space management did it in.

I read a lot of the other reviews and i have to agree that a lot of the extra bits (story, expedition, etc) can be annoying and counter intuitive. when you focus just on the mahjong quest (and dungeons which are part of it) it’s a pretty fine game. the only real issue i have is they pretty recently added new kinds of boosters. also, if you get an infinite booster (like infinite lives), YOU CANNOT TURN IT OFF. PLEASE CHANGE THAT. edited because i’m even more annoyed about these boosters. these are boosters you equip before starting a level (like in candy crush or whatever), but 2/3 of them are bad or useless. the one that’s useful is the butterfly one, which changes like 6 tiles to butterflies so they are easier to match. the next one is a hint tile, which just shows you available matches. this is a feature that already exists and is mostly useless because the challenge is picking the best matches, not finding matches. the last one is the one that grinds my gears. it is a rocket tile that basically auto matches/destroys 2-3 pairs of tiles for you. but since the pairs are basically random, they can be EXTREMELY inconvenient. in the game, you want to match the tiles that are on top of more tiles. but this auto matcher can destroy the matches to these tiles before i can match it, which could cause me to fail the level if the only other match is beneath the tile itself (inaccessible). if a booster has a possibility to MAKE THE USER FAIL THE LEVEL, it’s a bad booster. AND I CANT TURN IT OFF!!!!!! if the game “gifts” me infinite rockets for an hour, i’m stuck with a possible instant fail tile THAT I CANNOT TURN OFF. i cannot stress this enough, THIS GAME FORCES YOU TO USE A BOOSTER THAT CAN MAKE YOU LOSE. PLEASE LET ME TURN OFF INFINITE BOOSTERS, THEY ARE ACTIVELY RUINING THE GAME.
