is great! was actually able to run this and touch DJ at the same time.. this feature really makes this app stand out from the crowd. something I'd like.. being able to manually type the bpm, just tap the bpm readout and have a text entry box pop up. can't go wrong here-- it's free and works great!
Works beautifully, easy to adjust, very nice. My old metronome broke and I was going to buy a new one, but no need. Scrolling ads at the bottom of the screen a bit of a distraction, but no big deal. Highly recommend.
I had high hopes for this app since it seemed to have great features. But that turned out to be moot since I can't for the life of me figure out how to turn the metronome on. It doesn't come with instructions and although I consider myself tech-savvy I just can't make it work.
Out of the many free metronomes I've tried, this one is the best yet. It's also a combination of metronome and tuner, which makes it a lot more convenient. This app is recommended for anyone looking for a metronome or a tuner, or both :)
This is the first of the free metronome apps I've tried. Like prev reviewer, I had a hard time figuring out how to start the metronome going. After tapping all over the app I accidentally dragged and figured out that you start it by "pulling" the pendulum to one side. Then it starts clicking. Nice that there's also a built in tuner, though there are better tuner apps. I don't love the three options for sound type. The default has a 'ding!' for the down beat, like on an old fashioned typewriter. Seems weird to me if you're playing music to have dinging. But option two sounds like a normal metronome (click the bell icon to change the sound). Overall, it's good and functional.
Tried several of the other free ones and this one is definitely the best. Allows tap tempo, and subdivision of tempos. And the sound is pleasant, more musical and less piercing.
Yes, it's free. Why does it have to sound like a rave? What's wrong with a simple tick tock? Deleted as soon as I downloaded.
Totally unstable operation, keeps stuttering, and even totally crashed. Even prevented iPhone reboot, only app to ever do that. Dumped it right away. Whew. Whatta waste.
