When I downloaded the app and connected. There was no problem connecting. The screen is sideways so you have to turn phone sideways to use it. A bit awkward for one handed use. Also hard to close out the app. Have to swipe up really fast to close it.

works smooth as designed. Only connects via Wifi, so if you want to connect over cellular signal get total connect and pay a monthly fee.

I wish I’d known and paid attention to the reviews even because the app doesn’t connect to the lynx system at all! Doesn’t find it during the scan , I’ve been trying for a few hours now !

You can only access your Lynx l7000 locally. Limited features. Why would you need this when Honeywell total connect offers a free app? Plus it never connects. Can you give zero stars?

I was looking for a use for an older iPad that I had, and wanting a 2nd panel that was more useful than the basic Z-Wave panel that connects to my Lynx 7000, so I tried this app. It works well so far, and I have my old iPad mounted semi-permanently on the main level, which is ideal. It is definitely for the local LAN, though, so don't expect it to work remotely...

Only drawback is that you cannot access settings from your iOS device. Otherwise, it functions very similarly to the touchscreen on the control panel. It's much more responsive (quicker) than the TotalConnect App. I have two security systems at my property. This app would be 5 stars if I could switch between the two like the TotalConnect App allows. I need to be able use a single device to control each of these systems.

Doesn't work with aironet access points. Both have strong signals...app just spins. No manual option. No customer support...you need to purchase that separately. This along with all new Honeywell apps are poor software pushed to market to quickly.
