Good app

Drbooks

Pretty bare bones but works fine overall. Does give real time readings and you can set the reading spot.

Good! but...

i think it'd be better if the shutter speed selector said "shutter" instead of "speed". some people, especially beginners, might confused that with their ISO number instead, just an idea. thanks for a great app!

Does the job

FilmBarrie

I recently picked up a TLR and prefer not to carry a light meter around. With this app I can at least approximate for whatever situation I'm in. With the advancement of the iPhone sensor as well, this meets all my needs.

It's ok.

This is a great app and my only problem is that you can't actually take a picture. ?

Works well enough

Not gonna replace a nice Sekonic or anything, but it's more than capable for most shooting. Interface is a little fiddly, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. Of all the free metering apps, this one is probably my favorite.

Definitely the best free light metering app

The other reviews are a little too "first-world problem" for me. This does a great job. Simple. Works. Good. 5 stars.

So can you use the camera on your device or a completely separate camera cuz I really don't understand but I still like the app I've just been screenshoting inside the app and cropping it or my other separate camera.

Excellent

Victor Avilla

I use to have a built in photometer in my 35mm SLR. However it became inoperative. Then this app came and solved everything. It is straight forward and effective. Those complaining that it won't take pictures should read the description in order to realize it is an app for FILM CAMERAS.

Top lightmeter for analog photography

fingerprinz2604

Compared the readings with my Leica MP (center weighted reading) and my Seconic lightmeter. Very accurate. Perfect for analog b&w photography.
