Kinda lopsided odds

Doesn’t matter how you outrank your opponent, you can have three times as many armies, you’ll lose. The deck is stacked in the AI’s favor.

Great game!!!!

Love this game. Endless enjoyment.

Worth the money

Lux DLX is great! With the community of people adding downloadable maps for free, the possibilities are endless for those who want to play over and over. Best game for the money I’ve ever paid for.

iPhone X support is lazy

EWBears

Good game with pretty good AI but the iPhone X support cuts a lot of corners. There’s no home bar support and menu items often appear behind the home bar. Maps look bad stretched to the unique aspect ratio of the X, and changing phone orientation leaves a black bar where the notch cutout used to be.

Best strategy game

I love that u can finish a game quickly. Computer components are tough! Good update!

Great now that sound effects work again!

One of the better strategy games out there!! Played for years now.

Brutal

Let me start by saying to everyone out there that thinks the game is intentionally targeting human players (even when it’s not in the AI’s best interest), and aligning with other AI’s to seek you out and destroy you at all costs.... I thought the EXACT same thing so I wrote the app developer and very promptly received a reply back from the Chief Gaming officer that confirmed that if set on the “Reaper” level that is what they designed it to do. They suggested if you are (paraphrasing here) getting your you know what handed to you to use less Reaper players. Now having said that and knowing what I now know this is without a doubt the most awesome “Risk type” game out there. The advances made with the AI’s are almost unbelievable. If you are a true fan of this game (obviously you are or you wouldn’t still be reading this) then buy this version of the game because it is so worth the money. Then I suggest you buckle up because you’re in for the game of your life.

Beware what you wish for!

So I used to try to get people together to play risk in a board game. Very rare was that to happen. If you would have told me that I would have access to play an average of 2 games in less than an hour whenever I wanted to; I would not have believed it. Many different ways of limiting troop allotments, etc. My favorite is limiting the matching cards to only 5 armies each time and me against 1 "hard AI" who plays straight up fair and all of the other colors are "Reapers" who hardly ever go after each other but go exclusively after the human and the hard AI. Do yourself a favor and spend a little and get out of the "free version" so that you can adjust the game to suit your style. 10 out of 10!
