App is phenomenal and I love using it but the quality of the final video is at a much lower resolution that the photo coming in. I am having a hard time using it as I need high quality content for my Instagram page.
I hate this new version!

It’s confusing and difficult to follow. It’s definitely not user friendly! Also do I not have the option to buy one with a one time payment like in the old version? I understand that I have to pay forever! As an educator - we don’t have that kind of money! Please tell me I’m reading it wrong and I’ll change my rating!
Major problems with this app and developer

I want to start by saying I read a couple other reviews here and have had some similar problems. First I was using this app at the beginning before the newer subscription model. I paid to get the watermark removed but after the change the only way was to subscribe, it would not restore. ( They later say in generic letter all here steps you can aka and it will restore but it didn’t) I deleted and reinstalled and same problem. I had used the app at its beginning when they gave a few more free effects then they do now. Then the subscription service started. I thought ok I’ll give it a try- that’s when the whole thing just turned into an unpleasant nightmare. First it wouldn’t unlock “my effects “ and then I don’t understand why some categories like “water “ would show a whole series of effects but wouldn’t let me download. I again deleted the app ( more than once) and tried reinstalling, nothing changed, nothing restored, tabs wouldn’t download and then there is the screwy layout that if you don’t add all three of your effects it seems I had to close the app to start over. Now I must be dumb because I can’t believe that’s the set up but I couldn’t figure out any other way to work it. Point is not user friendly on top of the restore and accessibility issues. THEN THERES THE CUSTOMER SUPPORT OR LACK OF OR UNBELIEVABLE THINGS SAID TO ME OR SENT TO DEFLECT. I IMMEDIATELY WITHIN THE FIRST 2 days realizing I didn’t like this app and its problems so I contacted app support and asked If they could cancel my subscription and refund me. I didn’t realize I hit the subscription WITHOUT the 3 day free trial attached to it (- same price but paid for the year- right there it shows you how shady this is) then after numerous times and a period of time I get this computer generated letter saying my name and how they have listened to me for a year? I haven’t contacted them that I can think of other than maybe once asking about the watermark a LONG time ago. THEN I FINALLY GET SOMEONE TO RESPOND AND THEY ACTUALLY TELL ME TO USE MY IPHONE ( not my IPad) FYI. I do thousands of 1 min art video posts on IG that I use numerous costly app ( that work) on my iPad so the idea and nerve that some one say that is shocking) I don’t have the storage capability to have all those apps on my phon and why should I have to?! I then respond and say I just want my subscription canceled and refunded still, then I get this page long computer generated hypothetical scenario stories trying to answer or troubleshoot a wide array of problems, and make false statements saying that I have gotten access codes from them ( I never have) and that they were limited to how many I could get. AGAIN I WRITE BACK AND SAY I WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS APP PLEASE REFUND AND CANCEL. A MINUTE LATER I GET THE SAME LETTER I PREVIOUSLY GOT..., NO OTHER REPLY- my next step unfortunately is filing a complaint with App Store, and then filing a dispute with my bank for the charge. I really wish I wasn’t put through this, I contacted them before 3 days and have used the app since... ASK YOURSELF IS THIS WORTH IT? I would list all the video editing apps I use and pay for and love and they are also expensive but then this wouldn’t get posted, but I have NEVER EVER ENCOUNTERED A SITUATION LIKE THIS - I also have never written a review like this either. I’m a serious video art creator so I am beyond upset and disappointed in this whole scenario. I just want my money back and be done with these people and this app.
