I worked on a project for 4 hours. I stepped away for a moment and came back to find it gone. I contacted "support" and all they said was-that is peculiar. Depending on auto save cloud means putting your faith in the app and its tech support. This venture was a complete waste of time.

This edition of the app crashes upon initial login using email address. This doesn't happen on iPhone. Just iPad edition of this version.

Requires a signup by email or Google before you can even try the app. Nothing but a grab for your data. Avoid it.

The program overall is just okay with some BIG caveats that you need to be aware of. The developer should have warned me of this BEFORE I signed up for a year, but that is my fault. 1- The app does not work unless you have an internet connection. There is no development locally and then synchronize when you connect. So when I am on the train with no wifi, I cannot use the app. When it is is working it is fine. 2- No export to ANYTHING from the app. You heard me, you cannot email, export, download to Dropbox...nothing from the app. Really, nothing. To export you HAVE to go to the website. The export to Visio works very well, which is why I am giving this 2 stars instead of one. 3- About 5% to 10% of the time, the app loses my edits. There is NO SAVE. Instead it auto saves, but only sometimes. If you happen to close one file, then open another (e.g., to copy something) and then open the file you recently closed, you may lose your edits. This has happened to me three times. Instead, when you exit, you really need to wait about 3-5 minutes before you open ANYTHING. Sometimes if you open the item you just closed, recent edits will not be there, but then appear IF you do nothing for 3 minutes. Heaven forbid you make edits DURING the three minutes... Overall, this is okay. There is a very good collection of artwork/templates/stencils and the interface is decent. But these omissions and issues are TERRIBLE.

The desktop version is a solid offering and fairly priced. Team collaboration and permissions make this a serious contender to Visio, slack, OG and other standard apps. But the iPad version is not mature. At all. Basic functions don't work consistently, navigating object groups is impossible, and a myriad of oddball bugs make using this for anything but the most basic charting needs a challenge. I'm confident that Lucidchart will improve the app as time goes on, but for now, it's simply a letdown if you're used to their solid and effective online app.

This is so fast and responsive. So far I haven't had trouble with anything. Really intuitive. Great work.

I can't say this enough, Lucidchart is the best online diagram making software and now that they've finished their app, it's even better. Seriously. This is awesome. My life is complete.

Using Lucidchart to daigram solutions with my clients in realtime, impresses them everytime. Who know visual creation on a tablet could be so seamless, so professional. Well done Lucid!!
