Lucid Dreamer

The first step to controlling a dream is realizing you are actually asleep.

To help you do that, Lucid Dreamer will play a series of audio and/or visual cues during your sleep cycles.

When you wake up, you can record your dreams with our free, secure, PIN-protected Dream Journal. Your entries can be written or voice recorded, can be tagged, and you can even log technique metrics.

If you want to get even more advanced or try additional techniques, we’ve also built Lucid Dreamer Pro ($6.99) directly into this free version:

+ Reality Checker - Stop looking at your hand, counting your toes, or whatever habit you've been trying to form. The Checker can remember to do it for you, when convenient for you, and then alert you by sound, vibration, or even notification up to 287 times per day.

+ Paralyzer - Sleep Paralysis is a state in which your mind is awake, but your body is completely asleep. This transitional state can be used to achieve lucidity and the Paralyzer can help you enter into it.

+ Da Vinci – Although hard to get used to, cycle adjustment techniques can help you be far more productive throughout the day and even experience more frequent lucid dreams. Da Vinci can help you plan, and adhere to, the best cycles for you (default: Uberman Polyphasic Sleep Cycle).

+ Custom Music Selection – Use your own audio cues, Binaural Beats, or even record your own voice for use with the Dreamer.

+ Dreamscapes, Focalizer, Subliminator – Everything you see, hear, think about, and experience throughout the day has a direct impact on the contents of your dreams. These pre-sleep visual augmentations to Lucid Dreamer are designed to help you focus and direct those contents via color psychology, focal imagery, and rapid visual stimulation.

Great app!
Squandooooooooooooo

This is the app I've been searching for for years!! I can't find a single thing wrong with it either. The journal system in particular is really well done. Love it!

Worth the upgrade!

This is a full featured app. Lucid dreaming requires work, but is greatly aided by a well thought-out tool like this. Compare this to other, similar apps, and you will see this is far ahead in design.

I'll check it out
Zumbrota13

it has so much more then the other dream control apps but I'm not gunna spend $6 until I know that all those other features work, so please let me try all the features maybe for like 3 days at least then I'll think about buying it

First night of use: i think i had a dream about becoming lucid, because in the dream i remember becoming lucid but not having any control and not actually questioning reality. I woke up to the music playing, but did not hear it at all in the dream. Anyway, this app has been more useful in one night than dreamz has in months.

I almost lucid dream
SpiderWebface

Thanks to the light and music I become almost aware that I was dream but not only I lucid dream but also have vivid dream. I still remember holding a black spider on my finger. Serious I still remember that dream but it not truly vivid enough.

Paralyzer, dream journal, visual and audio cues, customization, alarm clock, nap scheduler, reality checker - try the premium trial - if its in another app its here also. I just did the trial but its funny because I wanna purchase the app and I can't find the purchase button anywhere, btw an EEG option is coming soon which might be sweet

I have bought the full version of the app, and I can tell you it is well worth the price!

Great, but...
Micah3434

When I look at my dream journal I see most of my dream but at the end it has a "..." And I can't see the rest ?? in deleting the app because of it

Problems with its core mechanic
FishPhd

In order to have the timer count down your phone needs to be unlocked which means you have to leave your phone on and unlocked for the whole night. Why it doesn't lock your phone when you hit start is beyond me.
