Great if you can find your pattern!

L.N.

I love that I can import my ravelry pattern. I love the look and feel of this app. It's clean and relatively uncluttered. I love the tools available but there's a few more things I need: - Need a way to search and sort my hundreds of patterns. - Not all my patterns were grabbed. In particular I'm missing a bundle I purchased digitally as pdfs. - Would love a way to draw a box to highlight in my patterns that can move around like the row tracker. - Row tracker (ruler?) needs to stick with the page when rotating from portrait to landscape. - Counter needs a smaller footprint and also needs to quit getting pushed around on the screen. I also have hundreds of patterns so if you're anything like me be prepared to let your phone sit and wait for a while to download and find everything. It doesn't tell you that it's still downloading until you look in settings so if it's not responding, look there.

All The Best

The best knitting patterns under one app! I can even connect my Ravelry account and patterns.

Love knitting

I’m new to knitting, so far I love it. I like the concept of saving your notes n the ease of using the app. I’m sure I’ll be spending more time n money than I really should, but I love seeing a finished project. I amaze my self when I see what I’ve accomplished, with your help. THANK YOU

Won’t take much to get more stars!

Not in a blue moon

I want to love this app, but right now it’s only at okay for me. I love having an option to download patterns from Ravelry. I love that there is a library of free patterns to select from as well! BUT... and it is actually a couple of big buts... I have literally thousands of patterns in my Ravelry library. Syncing my library took a while, which was fine, but then I literally cannot find the patterns that I am knitting right now. There is no way to search the library, and the order that the patterns show up in is apparently random. Patterns that were added more recently are not first, they are not sorted alphabetically or by type, it appears completely random. Edited to add: to the devs: for all that you keep reiterating that newer patterns are at the top, they are NOT. I was completely unable to find the pattern that had been added most recently to my library. Patterns that I know what order I added them are not in the newest to oldest. Either you are incorrect or your code is. The other big but is that sorting the patterns into collections would take days or weeks. It can only be done one pattern at a time and you cannot select multiple patterns to move to a collection. At least not that I’ve found. And even once you do have them sorted into collections... you now have to go through the entire collection to find the pattern you want. No search there either. Things that would make this better for me are a search function, sorting options, multiple file selection, and the ability to see what patterns are not in a collection. Right now, if I had a way to send a link to a specific pattern, so I could find it, that would suffice, but while I like the general interface, the app isn’t actually useable for me at the moment. Maybe next time I’m starting a new project with something I can find it will be better.

Useless

This app is really useless. All you can do is store your patterns from LoveKnitting and Ravelry on it, which I can do on my phone without having to download an entire app for. It shows patterns but you can’t search patterns, and who wants to scroll through a bunch of stuff they never plan on doing just to find something they might like? What this app needs: 1) a search feature for patterns. 2) make it where you can buy tools and yarns or whatever else I need. I downloaded this thinking I would be able to buy the yarn and needles I needed but no. I had to go to the website on my phone, which isn’t very mobile friendly, and buy the things I need there. Why even make this app? Very disappointed in it. I love the website but this app is nothing like that. It’s just meant for storage and nothing else. You can download the patterns onto your phone for less storage than this app takes up so it makes the app completely useless. Come on LoveKnitting, y’all can do better than this.

Best way to see new patterns and keep projects with me

This app works seamlessly with Ravelry. It also showcases new patterns. And the tools it offers while using a pattern are intuitive and easy to use. Love this app!

Awesome

Mimicr50

I seldom review apps but this thing is GREAT!! No need to drag out paper and pencil to keep your place, make notes, etc. Excellent for on the go knitting! Only improvement would be is ability to import outside patterns.

MUST HAVE

Hippieheathlenie

This app is brilliant. I have downloaded almost every knitting app ever. None of them even come close to this one. Super user friendly and has every feature you could possibly need. I will be deleting almost every other knitting app I have. This one does it all. Well done!

Good as far as it goes...

I think the app is a great concept and like being able to keep my patterns handy. Two issues: 1. It does not work on my iPhone. Works on the iPad, but not the iPhone. It would be handy to be able to access on my phone in case I end up being out and decide to work on a project, purchase materials for a pattern, etc. 2. I could not find a link to the website. So when I'm in the app, I can't decide to look at the website and purchase other patterns or materials. Maybe the link is there, but I wasn't able to locate it. But the concept is great and I will use the app often! Just would like it to be a bit more comprehensive.

Nice, but.....

No way to sort patterns! No way to search for patterns! If you have many patterns, trying to find an older one is a pain in the butt.
