Love this app

Taylorleewendy

It makes searching for patterns so easy

Great free app for your Ravelry patterns on the go!

Best part about the app in my opinion is the ability to highlight onto your patterns. I can highlight each line of a chart as I go to keep track of where I am, and can make notes onto the pattern of any stitch count adjustments or needle size changes, etc.) This is all saved onto your project for the next time you use the app. The highlights can also be erased as needed which makes it better for me than printing out patterns. Thank you!

Cut off at the knees!

I have been using and loving this app for years and once upon a time gave it 5 stars. But yesterday in the middle of a knitting section I was automatically logged out and when I logged back in all of my projects were gone. Three intricate projects in the works that I have no idea where I am. I logged onto the website to discover that love knitting is now changing over to love crafts so I assumed it was a changeover problem but when I searched the website it treated me as a brand new member. Only part of “me” saved was my email address. Email to tech support was promptly answered but of absolutely no help. After several emails back and forth, it was suggested that I have a family member delete and reload the app and update my iOS version. In that I work in the computer field I found this advice to be a little insulting. But in any case- I did delete the app. And reload. And clear the cache. And restart the device. Sigh. All of my work and years of project notes on prior projects are gone. While there are handy features available to use when I upload my Ravelry library, I will never again rely on this app (or any other one, to be fair) to save my work. I should have known better!!!! Word to anyone reading this through to the end: paper beats technology every time. WRITE YOUR NOTES DOWN IF THEY ARE IMPORTANT!!!

Great app!

Love this app. Does everything I need it to do. The ability to write notes on my pattern is fantastic. Did not give it 5 stars as I am waiting for the ability to import my pdf patterns from iBooks. I thought I would be able to do this when I downloaded the app and was disappointed as only half my patterns are available for download from Ravelry. Fix this detail and the app would be near perfect.

Black cat hard to see details

Kitty=Kat

I still consider myself an advanced newbie, therefore, I found this to be fairly easy, but not enough details when completing the bonnet. Pictures were hard to tell the final look because of the “black” color. I like to print my work and make notes on paper. I had a hard time printing because the “PDF” would not work. I realize this is the application problem, not the pattern designer. BONNET- I had to look up images on the web because I had no idea how to obtain the look in the pictures. I had to take it apart a few times after I figured I stitched the wrong side. Also, the edge naturally folds and it’s hard to see this in the picture.

Love but needs some things

I love this app. I love having all the sidebar tools. It would be nice to have the option to add another counter. Right now my only real issue with this app is that it’s not saving my counts when I use the counter. Example, I know I knit 40 rows and used the counter. When I went back into the app it said that I had only knit 26. It has done this on a couple of my projects. Not very efficient if you are working on an intricate pattern.

My patterns from else where...

Tích Mi

I’ve done a very small project which pattern is from LoveKnitting and the app worked perfectly for me. But I have tons of future projects in pdf neither from LK or Ravelry. Please make the app able to be used with our own pdfs, and for copyright you can make those self-uploaded patterns not shareable, or however you like. I would appreciate if you consider and make my suggestion true, till then I’ll rate the app 5 stars.

A a great help.

Just started using this app, but can see its potential! Two features I would love to see added are a search feature both for new patterns and my library, and the ability to import PDF files that are neither from Ravelry or LoveKnitting.

Great app.

Great place to buy yarn and patterns. Bought Rowan SoftYak to make a lively Rowan sweater and was so pleased with the yarn and delivery. Thanks so much.
