Unlinks and now Crashes

Oldest graduating college and moving away. Baby going off to college and moving away. Fun concept to tell them I miss and love them without getting 12 calls a day from their mom. Might just be nice when they’re homesick and return to their dorm or apartment and see the little heart fluttering.

New update is buggy

The new update took away my favorite saved animations! Bring them back! It randomly crashes on my and only allows me to send one message at a time. I keep hitting the send button and it does nothing

I bought my mom a Lovebox before leaving for college a few years ago and she absolutely adores it! It’s a wonderful product, but recently the app was redesigned and I think it’s not a good update. I don’t want to send postcards or texts, I use the app solely to send messages to her Lovebox. But now I have to click through 3 different menus to do what I was able to do easily in the previous version of the app. I wish there was a way to disable all those other options and focus only on the Lovebox.

Updated 12/6/2021: since the app update I have to poke around and go through a number of screens just to send a message to the one and only Lovebox I am (or ever will be) connected to. It is ridiculous. I should at least have a choice to open the app on the message screen for my Lovebox. And who needs to be paid for sending a message to a loved one? How shallow. Please get that stuff out of the way and let us use the Lovebox to remind someone we care. Previous: Five stars for the Pixel Lovebox, which is a brilliant and wonderful gift for our elders, especially as they have been so isolated in recent months. Three stars for the app, which is kind of awkward, provided very little help or instruction and whose Reminder function no longer works at all.

I bought the LoveBox for my girlfriend since we are unfortunately in a long distance relationship. I love sending her messages everyday and she loves spinning the heart on the LoveBox to communicate when she’s going out the house or when she’s finally back. Though the LoveBox is an amazing product for family or even long distance couples, I do wish there were more features to use in the LoveBox.
