Bad Interface and Tracking

The app only allows for you to receive texts or emails on the athlete at each 5k split. It also hasn’t updated me on my friend’s finish although he’s already texted me his finish time. It also has failed to send any updates on a second athlete I’m tracking.

I am a chaperon for Students Run LA and was trying to track my students with the app. I added my runners to the tracker and signed up for text notifications for all of them. I never received a single text, and now, two hours later, all of my students have disappeared from my tracker on the app. It says sign up is closed, so I’m out of luck. Horrible!
Kind of a hack job

The tracker app is not coordinated with LA marathon’s map. The map has mile markers and the app reports in kilometers. The reporting is only every half hour and what’s worse is it is not real time.
No tracking - worst year for this app

I could not track my runners and the notifications came in 2hrs late. Worst tracking app ever! Thank goodness my runner had a Garmin watch I could track her on. I was not alone in my experience, others at the LA Marathon had the same experience - horrible.

Hello. I NEVER write app reviews, but I must say: last year this same app worked so much better! This year, I couldn’t TRACK students running. I just waited hours for text updates and then flooded with said updates after the kids finished the race. I didn’t give it a 1 because of how good it worked last year. It worked THAT well that I submitted the average of the two years.
