Logic Remote is free iOS app published by Apple Inc.

Logic Remote doesn’t show transport controls for MainStage.

Majrsounds

I purchased MainStage to set up backing tracks on my Mac. I was pleased to find out that Apple had built an App (Logic Remote) for iPad to let the iPad “run the show”. However, i don’t see the transport controls on Logic Remote that let’s me Play, Stop, and advance to the next song in the set. I hope an update is forthcoming to resolve this.

No midi input for iPhone??? ???

I was so happy when I saw that you added iPhone support, so I could use my iPhone 6s Plus to play music in logic and it would read the velocity of me pressing the screen like in GarageBand iOS. How disappointing when I realized you inexplicably denied the iPhone version the ability to play music. You want me to buy an iPad??? There is no good reason for this. This app is virtually useless to me at the moment. Please add all of the iPad features in a future update and I will give it 5 stars. The new iPhone's force touch makes it perfect for logic. Common now apple!!!! ?

Where's the Logic in this?

La Jique

It sounds harsh, but...what exactly is the genuine point in having this app on the iPhone when it really can't do...crud? On my 6s Plus I have a ton of room to at least just make some midis, or have a drum kit. I hope it's just an early version because otherwise it's a very bland addition as an iPhone application. I don't even think this would be a good use of time as a garageband remote, which, speaking of, has a better application than anything that supplies support specifically for Logic Pro X. Apple, what's good?

Lack of amp and effect control on iPhone

This app is really a 5 star app if it add effect control or add ability to add custom pad or knob to generate MIDI signals

tried every thing and is not connecting ?

Duskydog26

im on latest. firmware on everything got this app hoping to start controlling my mixes and the app wont connect to the software, it shows its connected in the remote settings in logic but the app is saying no, no connection

Does not work on iPad Pro and my MacBook Pro 15" Early 2011

My Mac is running the latest version of GarageBand, the latest version of OS X El Capitan and my iPad is running the latest version of logic remote and the latest version of iOS, iOS 9.3, and it will not connect at all. My Mac does not show up in logic remote on my iPad Pro as a device to connect to. Both are connected to the same wifi network.

Lacking in features

APPLE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE add support for a percussion pad and velocity sensitive midi keyboard to use in Logic. I got the iphone 6s thinking that hey it would be awesome using force touch as a percussion pad (since I do not have one). Not only do you not have that but the iphone version only has controls?!!?!! Seriously Apple? I payed $200 of my hard earned money for logic and purchased a new $600+ iphone, and a mac mini, it would be nice for you to offer the same features for the iphone as the iPad.. To have the iPad version exclusive is just plain wrong. Please work on this guy's. I know me and a lot of other serious musicians would greatly appreciate this. It's the least you could do considering that we chose Apple products for a reason... If you want to keep your customers happy I hope you will please listen to our requests and take them to heart. Thanks for all the work you've put in but there is still a lot more to be done.. Especially on the iphone end of the app.

Fix please !!!

Nojymy

Works with 3rd gen iPad in garage band, but not with iPad Pro after January update. Fix please, very disappointing and frusrating

Only ok

String sessions

An amazingly great app to have if it only had a wider range of features. Please spend more time to add a level of functionality that mirrors logic x. At least let me scroll between views such as the score view. It's just a little to rigid to be truly useful
