Perfect example of an amazing idea with god awful execution. - WiFi connection between devices is very spotty - Bluetooth connection is worse - 8 times out of 10 I need to manually delete the old instance of logic remote in LPX and reinstall it.

1 star to 5 star in a single update

So so

So, this app is ok. It's got connectivity issues just like any other wifi dependent app. Even when you connect on a computer to iPad closed network I still can't trust it. I'm using iPad Air 2 and a MacBook Pro with all the latest updates to the iOS on both so its not an issue of outdated equipment or software. I don't get why I can't just plug my pad into the computer and use it as a touch extension, it can be done, I've seen and used such apps so I'm not sure why apple can't get that option together, but then, Apple has made quite a few confusing choices since Steve (rip). An iPhone without a headphone jack? I don't even know what to say about that, really, I'm baffled. Really? It seemed to me like Apple was ALL ABOUT the enjoyment of music in the simplest way possible. I don't even know how to use iTunes anymore not to mention that they tempted me with a cloud music trial and me like an idiot up uploaded my 3,000 plus song library including over two hundred ORIGINAL PEICES RECORDED AND PRODUCED BY MYSELF. when the trial ended they didn't return my music, any of it except the 5 albums I bought from Apple. I'm 50 years old, I bought all my music from reality based stores before there was this cloud BS. it should go without saying that I've lost all confidence in this company. Back to Logic remote. I am a multi instrumentalist. I can play drums on an iPad better than most on a kit. But that requires the ability to arrange the pads so I'm not having to jump the board to go from a closed high hat to an open high hat. Or doing descending rolls across the toms like I'm playing twister. Do SOMETHING right and at least provide that option in your next update. Sadly, this world we live in seems to depend on AI. I know it won't last forever but in the mean time throw us people who actually use this garbage a bone will you?

Crashes as soon as I click on anything

I have a brand new iPad Pro and a Mac mini. This used to work flawlessly. Now it's crashes every time I try to use anything but the mixer. Please fix the bug it's a bad one. I will change my rating as soon as it's fixed.

Works Fantastic

Everybody keeps complaining that Apple needs to add USB support, but if they read the very short description for the update, it says that they did, indeed, add USB support, but that you need to update both your MacBook and your iPad to the latest versions of each.

Missing key command bug?

hecksome

When I try to edit the key commands it is blank and there's no key commands to choose from, and the search feature doesn't show any either. Other than that and a desire for USB connectivity I love this app… Please fix

Very good but more features please!

megalaser

This is fabulous and quite useful but it could be really useful at a game changer if more features from logic were included, at least the full mix window. It's essential for any logic users who also have an iPad. Please can you add more features!

This software does not work anymore. Earlier versions were much better. The timing of the notes is so off that it is impossible to do anything musically. And sometimes it just sends a repeated note forever, requiring a closing of the project in Logic to get the note to stop. What would be great is a USB cable interface similar to Logic Remote that gives Logic similar iOS instrument capabilities as iOS GarageBand.

Works great with Garage Band on mac!

......………..............

I don't think this could work any better with Garage Band. For me there is almost no latency. You can even plug MIDI instruments in to your iPad with logic remote and control Garage Band on mac. If only the Remote app was this good!
