Platform iOS iPad Ok, so I read the other reviews and took them with a grain of salt. I always want to try something for myself. I gave it 3 stars because it’s just not my type of app. For some people it may be something they love. It’s fully functional with no issues that I see. It’s basically like watching a mini news broadcast with a few extras. You get local and national popular news with entertainment, tech, etc. You can choose to skip through a section or pick a section to watch. Plus you can add several other locations to view. The local weather and news seemed to be fairly up to the minute. So although it’s a nice app, it’s just not something I would use a lot of. I will keep it for a while to see if it keeps my attention. The only thing you need is an internet connection to use it. So I would say give it a try, because it is worth that at least.

I personally do not recommend this app based on my own experience. When I first installed the app a week or two ago the controls (pause button, next story, previous story) stayed on top of the video playing making it impossible to see or read anything being displayed. I sent feedback but never got a response from support. After a week I uninstalled the app. Decided to give it another shot last night. Same problem. Cannot see video because of controls. Sent feedback again but am not holding my breath.

I need the closed captioning to be able to read the news and know what is being said because I cannot hear. When I toggle closed captioning on nothing comes up and I am not able to see what the news stories are saying. Please help.

I live a hour away from Washington D.C. and yet it keeps coming up as my local area. I was hoping for something ACTUALLY local. Don’t download this app if you don’t live in the city. I will love the day when they make a news app for us country and suburban residents.

Quick view of traffic and weather was difficult to hear due to volume of background music. Will most likely delete this app if no improvement made to this issue

Then of course having the local weather and news at your finger tips is a huge plus. This app is all you need to plan your day, weekend, life!!
Can’t see the video because of controls

It would be nice to be able to see the video at the top of the screen but you float the controls over it and fade the video so you can’t see anything.

Hello team, This is good app. But forward, pause backward button continuous visible during video play. Tap in different section of the screen but didn’t go away. This is the flaw. Please have a look. Thanks
