Junk Device with Buggy software
Not making it easy
Don’t waste you time. Device had to be hard reset multiple times to make it halfway through the installation process. Then the app could not complete the installation when it hung multiple times when trying to find any 2.4ghz WiFi networks.

The app connected to the camera easy enough but the alarm function is very limited. You can set a schedule (e.g. 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM) but there is only one schedule and you have to change it when your schedule changes and if you want to set multiple alarm times. It would be good if it had a timer/sleep feature like “monitor on for the next 8 hours” or “off for the next 4 hours”.
Even with 2.4 does not work well.

I originally bought this off Groupon As a camera to make sure that my nanny wasn’t going in our stuff when we weren’t looking.. With that being said.. I plugged in the camera followed all instructions and then found out that I had to not use a 5.0 connection so I reconfigured my wireless settings and created a guest network on 2.4 the camera allowed this connection I added the device.. And of course this is where it did not work multiple hard reset I would say probably about 15 or so (my finger is hurting from pressing the pen into the USB camera) Finally I’d say maybe about the 13th hard reset I was actually able to get through for five seconds and then guess what happened somehow the camera was off-line when all of the indicator lights were still on...hmmm mystery? I don’t think so the equipment seems very faulty and I’d say out of their production line it would seem based off of reviews that only 1 out of every 10 of these cameras aren’t defective. Would not recommend buying again

Defective. Unable to connect to WiFi. Does not work. Within the few hours I had this item several technical people have tried operating this and were unable too. Not user friendly. Not as advertised.

Unlike everyone else, I found the setup to be easy. Not the absolute greatest on sound, but it was worth it for the money.

I can’t get an image no matter how many times I try. No support number to call. Is this just a big scam?

The new update just made it worst. The fonts are smaller, the save live feed only show date and time but you can’t see the video itself.
