Quirky with almost zero documentation

I was able to connect to WiFi and can see real time video while connected to the app and can manually start and stop recording. Successfully setup motion sensing and alarms (I think). However, the motion sensor triggered recordings are in .avi format and and not viewable while the manual recordings are in .mp4 format and work just fine. I’ve spent hours trying to figure out how to get the motion sensing videos to record in mp4 format instead of avi with no success. So, if I know a thief is in the room, I can manually trigger a recording but if I’m relying on the motion sensor to record, I’m sol

Camera has terrible voice clarity and the app doesn’t work away from home now so it’s not worth it. Who wants to watch their home from the phone while at home.
