App keeps force quitting

CSTProf

Hi will you have a fix? I removed and reinstalled. Started with iOS 11. Thank you

App crashes with iOS 11.2

PlumberCity

When going from WiFi to cellular, the app crashes 2x, then opens. This started will iOS 11, and has continued with iOS 11.2 and even though I updated to the lates app, it still happens. My review is too short so I’m adding these words to the end so I can submit it to the proper people who will review this message and hopefully add the necessary fix so they can better the app stability.

Used to work

Donnabert

About a year ago this app worked fine. Now on the four devices that my husband and I use it on you have to constantly turn airplane mode on and off an order for it to connect to our camera system. It isn’t a problem with our system or the camera because we can still connect fine using Safari. It is simply a problem with this app and I hope they fix it soon. Until then it is more frustrating than useful.

Better than the FOSCAM apps

LarryKxx58

In April, 2015 I spent hours trying to enable remote access on a new FOSCAM FI9821W V2.1 camera. Even though the built in DDNS was enabled and router ports opened the official FOSCAM apps would not connect remotely no matter what I tried. Then tried this app and instant success! Able to access the camera from iPhone using cellular data. If you have an issue, CONTACT THE DEVELOPER before leaving a bad review. They are on Twitter, Facebook and email (some reviewers claim they don't!!!). When I've had questions they replied in two days or less. They will continue to support the app if they get new customers. Bad reviews? No customers. No customers? No support. FWIW. (1)FI9821W V2.1, (1)FI9831P V2, (3)C1's, (1)C2, (4)R2. iOS 11.2, iPhone SE, iPod touch 6g, iPad Pro. [update 12/2015] Ignore the 1 star reviews that have popped up. Developer returned to his own drivers and now the app works fine with added functionality in the process. I'm running six wireless FOSCAMs. I access the cameras from my LAN and remotely via cellular with minimal issues. The cams are configured with their built in DDNS using HTTPS and port forwarding. I also use Sub Stream to reduce data usage. If I see something interesting I simply switch to a group that loads Main Stream (HD). Many apps don't provide this Sub Stream capability. Note that the app doesn't support P2P. You'll have to go elsewhere for that. [update 4/5/2016] Been running latest version for a several days. All is well! [update 4/28/2016] Foscam released new firmware for most of my cams; updated all of them, no issues with app. [update Dec, 2016] All cams have latest firmware, and with the current app all is well. A couple cams are setup using the dual address capability. If phone is on local network, the hard coded IP address is used. If remote, DDNS with low data usage video settings are used. Works great! [update July, 2017] All is well. Running latest version of Live Cams Pro as well as latest versions of Foscam firmware that have been released for all of my cams over the last couple of months. [update August, 2017] Changing from 5 to 4 stars on account of developer apparently not providing the level of support that they used to. [update November, 2017] Developer looks to be resuming support of the app. Hazzah! Since it appeared that support was going away, I’ve been trying other apps. Although this is not the easiest app to use, it is the most versatile. You can do things with it that no other apps can. So I’m glad to see them update it. Will restore 5 stars when that happens.

Problems with Amcrest

Rascals Live

I have been using this app for years with my old Foscam cameras and love it, always worked great. I just upgraded to the Amcrest IP2M-841 and even though I can get it to connect to see the camera, I can’t get the camera to move at all (pan, tilt, etc). Any help would be appreciated.

Started crashing after recent iOS update

Liz72701

I love this app and use it all the time to view my cameras. It appears to need an update as it started crashing after I applied the update from last month.

Needs Update

This app is quickly approaching useless POS territory. Promised update in December nowhere to be seen. App regularly fails to connect to known good endpoints without frequent rebooting.
