Works for estimating long exposures

nwexVJ

l went through half s dozen exposure meter apps before finding one that helps estimate shutter speeds for long exposures. It's the only apps that would calculate shutter speeds longer than 1/8 second.

Almost perfect.

Great design and super easy to use app. But I wish it gave me the ability to set a max shutter speed.

Simple and accurate

I am new to film photography, so I was very concerned about making sure my photos were properly exposed. I found this app, and tested it out by taking exposure readings with both the app ans my digital camera. This app is completely accurate to a true exposure reading with an actual light meter, so if you’d rather not carry one of those around all the time, this is it.

Simple and Amazing

This is a great little app with no ads. Very well done and extremely easy to use.

Accurate

Nails exposure for 35mm c-41 film. Love the spot metering option.

Nice interface, bad readings

ellip0t

This app recommends values that consistently underexpose my photos. This is a real drag when shooting on film. The interface is wonderful, I just wish the readings were more accurate.

Great meter

Simple and clean app. Doing what it claims and it’s free. I tried multiple other apps but this one is the best so far

F stop disappeared

echurco

This seemed like a really great app, but the F stop reading disappeared before I got to use it.

Simple, Clean, Accurate

Easily the best meter app available. I use it primarily for 120 film photography, and it’s accurate every time. Would have happily paid for this app!

Great app

Recently got into film photography and I have two cameras where I need a light meter to get my settings right (Mamiya 645, Canon F1) This isn’t much of a light meter but more of a spot meter. But needless to say it’s been working great for me. It’s simple, easy and pretty accurate (depending on what you want to expose) My rule of thumb is to tap the mid tones/ shadows of what to take a picture of and put the suggested camera settings into my camera and the results turn out great. If you want to see some of my work to see how good of the light meter is @jubilee.film on Instagram is my account. All photos taken on the Canon F1 and Mamiya 645 have been used to meter the photo taken Great app and easy to use!! Download it if you need a simple light/spot meter!
