Great app

veggrrrl

I am so glad I got this one. The presets rock and there are new ones added all the time. I ended up subscribing. But you can also only purchase the ones you like. The rates are very reasonable and the value is great. I fully recommend this to make the most of your hue lights. Most of my lights are Gen 1, but I can only imagine that this world be so much better with Gen 2 lights.

Very Cool!

KCF046

I just bought a bunch of Hue bulbs for throughout my home and wanted something to control them that was straight forward and easy to use. I downloaded the app and set it up with no problems at all (not sure what the guy complaining about not being able to find the bridge was all about). I used it for 5 minutes tops and then purchased the subscription. $25 seems a bit pricey but its kind of like an Apple product, yup they are expensive but they work intuitively and that is worth my money every time. It is very cool and makes setting a room scene so easy.

Love it but has froze couple times

No Support

GYMTINO

I upgraded to the latest version and the app won’t let me pick specific lights, it chooses additional ones. I emailed support and have yet to hear back. This of course happens after I purchased the Halloween light theme. Last time for this guy.

Bug fix needed.

Victor_san.asap

Apple watch complication not syncing.

Worked great for the first year

Rok n rolla

Worked great for the first year now the app constantly dropped all of the connected lights when you close the app. And they all have to be reconnected every time I try and use the app. I can't get any response from their support team to try and fix the issue.

Good concept, not quite there

I intended to use this app with LIFX lights. There are a few issues I have with it. 1) it disconnected from my lights within minutes of using it. 2) very confusing and difficult to use. 3) EXPENSIVE!!!! Why in the world does it cost so much? $25 should be a one-time purchase. 4) aesthetically not pleasing. While I understand functionality might still be there, I hated opening the app and looking at it.

A mommy must have

Niknak094

I am a mom of 3 and my kids are very much affected by light. I’m sure they have S.A.D...spring and summer they pop right out of bed. Come winter - they are missing the bus everyday. So what better way to wake them up than with a smart bulb and the red light features? This is not a prank. I truly use it. They get a kick out of it and I get to work on time each day. As far as the effectiveness of the products: the app works better with my LIFX bulbs than the LIFX app. The music/sounds are great too! I do have a membership and I think 25$ is pretty inexpensive for all you get and the ease of use. My only improvement would be related to organizing the presents. I would prefer to have them organized by room and/or by child.

Does not work with recent LIFX bulbs...

Shadowbottle

App can only see A19 and BR30 bulbs. Very annoying. Does not see any of the Mini varieties (Mini Color, Mini Day & Dusk, or Mini White). Very disappointing discovery.

Fast changing light

Nice to have ability to make color sequences however, there is a 10sec max for each color before it goes to the next so in order to get pretty, relaxing effects similar to ambee, you would have to string tons of the same color together to make effect of a color lasting more than 10 seconds. Too time intensive for me.
