I’m very disappointed by this, and the creators should be ashamed. I liked Lifeline 2 a lot: the character had personality, the times when she was busy made sense, the writing was clean, and the story was cool. In contrast, the writing in this has regular typos, the wait times don’t make logical sense, the story feels incomplete and cliched, and the character is very bad. He doesn’t talk or act like a real person (or even robot), but an unnaturally well-spoken toddler. A couple of many example lines are, “No! You be quiet. It’s my turn to talk,” and when he’s JUST excited a dark, wet hallway, if you ask him to check his hands for stains, he says, “Stains? Ohhh! You mean from... whatever is covering the walls in the corridor!” He has this weird drugged Mr. Rogers vibe that made it impossible to get into the game or care about him. Put simply, it’s stupid. Really, really stupid. Yet another issue is the choices. The game regularly presents two things: a smart choice and a dumb choice. For example, when the character finds he can’t move and the mastermind laughs at his inability to act, you can say, “What did he do?!” or, “He’s trying to control you! Fight it!” Even if you didn’t figure out he was being controlled, the act of reading the second choice tells you, so why would you bother with the first choice? This is very common. From the typos to the weak story that ends without anything to differentiate it from dying (except an offer to spam you) to the amazingly idiotic character and choices, this game screams “phoned in.” They didn’t even run spellcheck. They barely tried. This is a franchise entry meant to do nothing more than earn money. I wish I’d given mine to better people. If you haven’t played this, don’t. Play instead: 80 Days, Buried, A Dark Room, Sorcery, Reigns, or even Lifeline 2. I’ve also seen good things about Out There and Device 6.

I loved how it grabs you in and feel what’s going on. For you and the characters! Would definitely highly recommend

This game sends me notifications and is then stuck in the same place whenever I check back. Super annoying and uninteresting beyond words!

I’ve always seen ads for things like this (like yarn) but I really liked this one because you get to choose your ending. I also like the future predictions. I believe that this is going to happen in the future. Possibly the near one. It is cool to think about the singularity (where AI and machines surpass human intelligence) and how it may never happen.

Just started playing. Adams was climbing on ice and I encouraged him that he could do it. Three dots have been flashing ever since. The game is frozen and I guess Adams is too. Poor Adams.

The main character, Adams seems to be almost real. The storyline is great, and I wish the developers would write a book. Great game, would play again!

I love these but it would be amazing if white out 2 was also available on iPhone
