Great App, just wish I could save custom timers

Sbeco

This is a great app which is has really been helping me with my four and a half year-old son. He loves the music, and the surprise success images that display each time. The fact that they are random and different is great. He will ask for this when brushing teeth. I also use it during time-outs. I just use the reading timer since that is the approximate amount of time. In fact, when my son is on the verge of a temper tantrum because of a time-out, I'll turn this on and he quiets down, absorbed by the music and visual of sand falling. My only request to the developers, is that you allow us to create and save custom time amounts with custom songs. For instance I would use this for story time at bedtime.

Awesome app

LOVE this app. Use it as a pediatric OT and a mom.

Best timer ever!!!!

Chemomom

Love this timer! Gets my ADHD daughter to finish things quickly. She lives it!

Frustrating

Mama'Tine

I had this app for awhile and the kids loved it. It was great for keeping my 7yr old from taking 30min showers, and my 5yr old from taking an hour to get dressed. And I love that I can use my own songs. HOWEVER, it has recently stopped working. Whenever I try to put on one of my iTunes songs, like I always do, the whole app closes. I've tried loading and deleting, restarting the app, iPhone, and iPad, and nothing works. It's so frustrating! Please fix this ASAP!

The Perfect Parenting app!

I've been using this app for over a year and it has truly changed the way routines take place in our house. After taking a parenting class, I learned about the vital timer to motivate children. Convinced there was something better than a kitchen timer to motivate my kindergarten son to start and end his routines, I came upon this app after having tried several others that just didn't cut it. He loved it. He loved seeing the animated "frog" (a child's imagination) on the screen, and the combination of sounds just hit the spot. After a year it still works to get him out of the house on time every morning, to the dinner table, homework complete, or whatever other task is next - and without mother/son quarrels, yelling or arguments. I truly love I and am very grateful for it every day.

It works!

Ringtu

This has motivated my 2 year old to get dressed, get ready for bed, brush his teeth, and get ready to leave the house. Totally effective!

Needs a little more freedom

ESAET

I love this app, my kids are racing the app and each other I just wish I could set my own time limit 5, 10, 15 minutes even would be nice but this only goes up to 4 minutes.

Too short

ACEG11

Disappointed. I wanted to use this to give my toddler an idea of how long she needed to stay in her room for "quiet time"/nap time. Unfortunately "custom time" is only your choice of 1,2,3 or 4 minutes. That's hardly "custom" and certainly not long enough for my needs (an hour - hour and a half). It's a great idea and catchy interface for kids though. Great for short time needs.

Lifesaver app

Gets my kids going (both special needs and typical). Love it, recommended it to many parents.

Great for 4 minutes or less

I was so happy to find the free version of this app at first. It was a great concept to encourage my daughter to pick up her pace on most things in her day. Got the paid version so I could set the timer to 20 minutes for dinner (the main reason I got the app) and found out the custom time options are only 1, 2, 3, or 4 minutes. The app also hasn't had any updates since 2014, even though other people have left similar reviews as mine, so it doesn't seem promising that there will be any expansion of these features.
