It’s nice to be able to access these books without paying anything. The ads are short.

Words are Living

Language skills and communication are the foundation of civilization and progress. They call them classics for a reason. There is no resource for experiencing imagination and reality better than LibriVox. I drive truck for a living, and with it’s versatility in lower G areas, LibriVox is my best friend doing my job. Thank you for the creation of this irreplaceable app!!

Excellent for studying important US history documents and historical figures.. I’m using it to catch up on historical events and people.. it’s amazing the things that matter are read aloud as I renovate the house.. thanx ?

So fun!

What a fun way to read public domain works! It feels nice to get back to the classics. Has books in many languages, which I enjoy as a bilingual person and as someone who dabbles in learning other languages.

One ad too many: NRA

I concur with a previous reviewer about the ads: If you don't like them, you can buy the Pro version. That's fine: But I can also choose to boycott both apps if I see an ad from the National Rifle Association on the free app, and let other users know why I'm doing it. (On the NRA homepage, there are pictures of backpacks and a knife, but no firearms at all. I wonder why.)
