Great app for busy lawyers & students

I've been waiting for this app ever since Apple created the App Store. It is so nice to be able to quickly grab cases and Shepardize them. I like the case summaries and the Shepard's summary box on Lexis better than any others out there. Currently, this iPhone App provided by Lexis is the only app that can do this. I like the app's simplicity, but would also like to see an option to get a case by party name and to also have the Shepard's symbol more prominent on the results screen. This is a nice start. I will be happy to see any new enhancements Lexis makes in the near future.

This is a great app. It is perfect for law students. Now we just need Westlaw to make a similar app.

Missing a lot of functionality though. 1) Can't open or view Shepardized cases 2) No way to save cases 3) Ugly icon 4) no text size options The app feels like a stripped down webpage rather than a full-featured application.

Great app. Now I can pull up cases anywhere I am!! Having the Lexis database at my fingers for FREE is so exciting.

Great, but . . .
Oddball Bricks
This application is excellent in that it allows me to read cases on my ipod, but it doesn't allow for even simple searches and does not keep a history of cases for you. Search capabilities are not necessary, but I would very much prefer if I did not have to re-look up a case citation when reopening the app. I would have given 5 stars if I could see my history and therefore have easier access to previously viewed cases. That aside, much easier than lugging heavy textbooks to bed.
