Used to be a good app

Ios_power_user

The most recent update introduced a confusing UI which is difficult to understand. Features which I found to be useful were also removed. Why would you get rid of Touch ID?

I hate it

annvalen

I've done a research. There is no such app as LevelMoney 2 used to be. I am disappointed

Still ruined.

SWMDC

Bring back the swiping feature. It's obnoxious to have to open each transaction to classify it.

Rough update

So thankful for this free product. But I must agree the new update is borderline unusable, from overall sluggishness to the removal of key features (like rollover) that made this one of my favorite apps :/

Love it!

Very helpful and simple to use.

Great app despite bugs

Lnvoge

I have come to rely heavily on this app for my budgetary needs. It is easy to use, clean interface, simple to link to accounts, etc. I've recommended it to many others similarly situated financially (this app is best for those with a relatively uncomplicated budget). However my reliance on it makes the frequent bugs all the more frustrating! They are typically addressed in a few days but I wish they had endured a bug-free app before implementing the most recent update. I also miss the comparison graphs. They might exist somewhere else now but I find it harder to navigate since the big update. Overall, I still love Level and will continue to use it exclusively as my budgeting app!

Liked it better before

I used to recommend this app to all of my friends because I loved it so much. With the new update everything is slower and more confusing. Definitely switching apps

What Happened?

I used to love this app, but the big update left it lacking. It updates very slowly, leaving a confusing picture of what is actually going on. It feels like it used to have more options than it does now. Please undo all the changes, it was fine before. I'm going to look at other apps to replace this.

Update takes you BACKWARDS

Update completely shat the bed. I was so excited to see Level's update since the previous version was amazing. I've never wished I could undo an app update more than I do now. L3 does not simplify - it complicates. (1) You can no longer manually set aside a monthly savings amount. Instead, you have to back into the math by choosing a spending number that accommodates your goal. This may seem like a minor change in temporal framing, but the spend slider makes that simple decision much harder than it was previously. (2) MoM trending is essentially gone and what is now available is incorrect. The trends shown for my TM actual spend and LM actuals are exactly the same even though I have records that show I have spent differently. When you select "Projection," a seemingly random number is shown that does not reflect TM or LM actuals - how the hell was this number derived? (3) There is no single replacement for the "Insights" view. Instead you have to move between individual widgets to see data that used to be centralized; this includes MoM spend, overall account balance trends, and spend trackers. How does that make things simple? It doesn't. (4) Non-income credits do not affect your "spendable" figure. This is okay-ish since bonuses gifts etc shouldn't technically be spent in their entirety. However, I imagine this will make the app hard to use for people with irregular incomes and will make the process of counting side-income less automatic. (5) Really? The app doesn't require a passcode any more? Please bring back L2 and just call it L4 so that we can get back to something that's useful.

Great and still optimizing

Erolbefresh

Great app. Still calibrating and so are they. Looking forward to it!
