Good but Could be Great

This app is for the movie fan for sure. For me it doesn’t replace IMDB but is for connecting with movie fans rather than connecting with people in the movie industry. I am sad however that this apps data base is missing a lot of TV shows and some movies from their database. They are missing the Mandalorian.

I really love the idea of this app! my only qualm is that the interface is relatively confusing and hard to use. if there were just a couple small improvements to the interface, it would def be a 5 star for me. especially in terms of finding friends/getting to the friends tab it’s a bit counter intuitive. i also wish there was a dedicated button to add a movie to a favourites list

I love it. And I never planned to love a Mobile app focused on sharing people’s opinions about Cinema/Film.
Digest emails are the worst

Good app, but I turned off all notifications and yet I still got a stupid “digest” email. Why do so many apps think people want a “digest” email? If you make your app good then people will use it and you won’t need to tell them about things happening in it via an annoying email. Ever think about that?

I wish the app wouldn’t pause whatever music I’m listening to when I open it. Other than that, perfect app.
One needed improvement

Great app but with one major flaw: you can’t sort your watched movies by time watched. When I’m on a bing of movies I’d like to look back at the recent ones in order but instead I have to look at Joe Exotic’s stupid face every time.

I use this app pretty much every day since I downloaded it. It’s great just to go on there and check out what the people I follow are watching. DO NOT get this and expect it to have tv shows on it. That’s not what this app is for. At most it’ll have miniseries. And that’s good because I never liked having to sift through a long list of television credits on sites like IMDB before. A couple issues. I wish you could follow other people’s lists and save them like you would a playlist in Spotify or wherever. I know you can copy someone’s list with the Pro version, I’d rather just add theirs to my lists and it says who the owner is. I don’t like having to search for the same list every time. Also, as community based as it is, you can’t cooperatively create a list with another member. You can only create a list and share it with someone. If I have a list that my friend wants to add movies to, why can’t I give them access so they can add movies, too? Making these small changes would really elevate the app and make it easier to save information/connect with friends.
