Learn Spanish - Language Game Reviews

I really enjoy this app and it’s helping me finally learn a second language. What I’ve encountered though is opting for the free premium trial to then rollover into the premium for a year. I’m fine with that and willingly allowed the $19.99 charge at the end of the trial period- but, it hasn’t upgraded my account. I don’t want to lose my progress, and I also don’t want to ask Apple for a refund for something I wanted to do and chose to do, yet I I’ve emailed the apps support once on the 14th and more recently and haven’t gotten a response. I’ll have to ask Apple for a refund soon. All that aside, the app is great.

I wish the developer would fix this but I’ve reach out multiple times with no response. I paid for premium TWICE and the app still doesn’t give me premium access. If this doesn’t get fixed soon I’m assuming these people are just scammers.

Enjoyed the game but when I paid for the premium version it never activated. Try to contact support Three times with no response. I will cancel my subscription and just pay the free version I guess. If that is all it will give you then why pay for a whole year to get nothing else!

I’m not learning anything from this game. There are arrows pointing at the answers which never allows you to truly test your knowledge. BORING!!! Keep searching for other games and pass on this one

Found the game to be boring, unintuitive just matching words the majority of the time. I know a bit of Spanish from Latin America and this was confusing to me. They put you into sentence building, but I didn’t see any lessons (?) Not a good fit for me.

I like this game but it has happened SO many times lately that I win a round, and it’ll tell me that I’ve lost. I’m hopeful it’s not a way to cheat people into buying more attempts because I’ve already paid and am not apt to pay more if its unfair.

...and oddly quirky?. Seriously, I enjoy this game and find I am learning a lot. I have to laugh at some of the vocabulary presented. Like, out of all I might need to say in Spanish, why am I being taught, "That one-armed man scares me." LOL Still, I find myself remembering a lot and can proceed quite fine without ever purchasing helps or lives with anything other than coins earned in the game. Two frustrations I have is that I feel way too many new words get dumped into a game. I set a goal of three new words a day because I wanted to master them before moving on. Sometimes I get ten or more in a single game, then a pile in the next, —even when i have chosen "play without new words" and I'm completely baffled for a week until I begin to recall a few. My second frustration is that I feel the ability to see the entire word is removed too early. ( A valuable educational technique used is to simply give you the first letter, then you can click on the word to hear it) Being a visual learner, I wish there were a way to click to temporarily see the word when needed and begin to marry it's form with it's sound. Nonetheless, thanks for the game!

I have paid for the yearly service and only have access to non premium activities. I’ve emailed with no response. Kind of disappointing but the app itself is fun. I’ll change this review once my account is fixed.
