My eight year old brother that is special needs loved the fisher price app because he could tap on the screen and the image would change and now with this new app how is he going to learn by watching a video he is non verbal and with the other app he would repeat the abc’s, with this app he is not even interested, y’all should’ve just kept the other apps

My 2 year old used to love the old puppy apps and now they’re gone. My daughter used to always click the fisher price puppy app and open it on her own and loved tapping the screen to identify puppy’s ears or nose. Now when I open this app for her she taps on the corner to exit the app or press the home button on the iPad to get out of it. I don’t know why you would get rid of such great apps for this subpar modification. Bring back the old games and put it in this one! They were much more interactive.

There are a lot of disappointed children now that you updated your apps. The body part one was a really good way to start working on body parts. Hanging to enter a child’s age is not helpful for those who have kids of varying ages or kids with developmental delays. Please at least allow access to the original apps if you insist on using this version.

There are some issues within the app that need to be addressed... particularly with the shapes and colors video. It is giving the wrong color to the shape on the screen. Please address with next update.

Whoever designed the newer version of this app should be fired. You can’t use it unless you have internet which limits use from the start. Secondly, a child cannot easily navigate the app AT ALL. The games used to be great but we are moving on from this app because my child doesn’t use and says “it doesn’t work”.

Why would you get rid of all your apps that kids loved? I get that you wanted to put all the apps under one “roof”, but why get rid of the games where the alphabet, shapes, numbers, etc… would fall down the screen while songs played?! My little boy with autism still grabs the ipad, looks for that game, then has a meltdown because it’s not there for him to use anymore. Obviously your company is more worried about saving some pennies than making your audience, the kids, happy. Terrible company that’s against kids with special needs, and have gotten rid of any FP toys in our home. You’ve definitely lost a customer for life.

Kudos to the person/team that handles the responses to the reviews. Unfortunately, the canned answers are getting old and repetitive, and frankly disingenuous. Can you just please… 1) escalate this matter officially to company stakeholders and decision-makers—scroll through the past year’s reviews, many are from parents of kids with special needs 2) give us a straightforward, honest explanation why the old apps were discontinued, was it a licensing or developer, contract, or ownership issue? 3) advise on concrete action moving forward other than simply considering our feedback “for future updates.”
