This free app has helped me ALOT in learning hiragana. Very easy lessons with pronunciation and quizzes that are basic yet help you. Also have flash cards/ study cards that you can use to help you. Planning to purchase the $9.99 one but this free one is already great. Highly recommend to those who want to learn Japanese.

The only thing that it needs is more references to what the symbols look like to help me remember them. Other than that, it's great! I've learned the hiragana symbols and can read it within 4 days!
Old Version is better

I updated to this version a little while ago and I was disappointed. In this new version, many of the audio files would not play during quiz mode. Until this is fixed, I will not upgrade.
