NEW APPROACH TO A TRADITIONAL TEACHING TECHNIQUE
Much of the Chinese language is based on pictures, and much preschool learning is visual in nature. That’s a perfect combination to create a fun and engaging language learning experience for kids.
Using the age-old technique of associating pictures with characters, we’ve added some interactive animation and cute tap-to-learn play sequences that kids want to see over and over. That easy repeatability is terrific to help kids retain the word’s they’re learning in the app.
“The illustrations and animations are wonderful. The controls were very easy and intuitive. My toddler very easily navigated through the app. Chinese characters can be very complex, but this educational app does a wonderful job of introducing and teaching kids (and this adult) how to recognize and pronounce 30 Chinese characters.”

The app was designed for kids, but I find the process of reinforcing each word remarkably effective on myself. In the span of minutes I added a dozen Chinese words to my vocabulary. Great way to start learning the language! The music is catchy and I find myself wondering, what cute thing exactly will Miaomiao and Dodo do to reinforce each word? Really great learning aid.
My 3 year old granddaughter loves this app. She especially loves all the words where the dog does something cute to act out the meaning. She calls dogs she sees in the park "Doudou" now. I hope there will be more words later but there are plenty in there now to keep her busy. She has already started saying a few words while we drive or eat, just impersonating miaomiao telling me in her voice how to say hand and mouth in chinese.
Love how it teaches kids the correct stroke order!
Great app. The animations are bright and engaging and the interactions are lots of fun. I like how they use pictures to reinforce character recognition and teach correct stroke order in the writing section. I've been recommending this to friends who have kids learning Chinese.
She likes the animation very much and plays it again and again. After a few days, she can recognize most characters. I wish they have more characters.
Just limmited amount of words in chinese and in english. No option to avoid english. Boring to me and annoying sounds. I also bought the tv series app :-( All is in english!! I dont like it at all!
